Well done! The core idea is really creative, your levels were well designed, but I think there's a bit too much UI. I don't think everything is really useful and having too much stuff shown can be a bit confusing. And I didn't really know how many coins I had to gather on each levels (but it hasn't really been an issue so maybe it doesn't matter). Anyway, congrats for your game, it was fun!

nice job ! i had fun figuring out the mechanics, cool way to go about the theme! cool level design and neat mechanic ideas !

Love the artstyle. It was hard playing on the keyboard, I wish the controls were more intuitive (use ASDF or ZXCV instead of Ctrl, Shift and Alt). I died after using all my bombs and got stuck :(

Didn't understand at first how the timer worked, turns out it wasn't a timer :D the puzzles are fun and the mechanic to walk around to make the monsters switch into coins is a fun idea. The only thing I found a bit annoying was the text that took 1/3 of the screen and couldn't be removed. I'll have to find friends to play the co op version :D very nice submission wished it was a bit longer!

I've struggled a bit with the timer and the control scheme at first, but it is a fun game once you get the hang of it. Good job!

I've tried a few more games, and this was a pretty good endless runner from the Jam: https://xullien.itch.io/too-hot-to-stop

when i move this green things just goes crazy i am not shure why i am guessing it is supposed  to be a 4 bit counter.

Developer

Yeah! that bit counter could use either better explanation or redesign/drop. Thank you for playing it!

By the way, great job for a first game jam game! I'm sure you took some serious time on putting that together! good experimentation with power tradeoffs. everyone check it out here: /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4810757

The swap countdown is clever and adds an extra something to think about.

Developer

Thank you! It was fun to play with for sure!

Took me a few tries to understand what was going on, even with the help text.  I still don't quite understand the C/T on the far left.  But once I understood the swap, many levels can be cheesed by rapidly hitting left/right until the countdown hits, then grab the enemy coin hahaha.  This is solid, I liked it.

😂😂😂 yep! For sure! Thank you for playing my game! I’ll check out yours soon!

Developer

Always enjoy a puzzle platformer, I think the idea of switching phases is super cool too! I think the game could be a bit more intuitive, I struggled a bit starting up. After that it was very nice, I think the kind of ominous music fits super well too.
