How does your game fit the theme?
Count Down is central to every decision the player makes. Each wager is a calculation of the remaining cards in the deck. As cards are drawn and permanently discarded, players must constantly count down the available outcomes and adjust their odds. The theme also drives the game's fail state. Every card drawn brings the player one step closer to an empty deck. Once there are no cards left to draw, their journey ends. Whether you're counting your chances or counting down to your last card, every decision is a race against the inevitable.

Pretty fun game. Reading the tutorial didn't help that much, but it isn't that hard to figure out. Good job.
Great game, agree with others it feels a lot like Balatro which works for it because I got totally sucked in haha. Really fun, interested what it would look like in the future

Really ambitious to try and do something like Balatro but the balancing and complexity seem a bit off. Especially it seems weird that you can get high stakes from safe bets like "Not a Club". Good basis tho, would be curious to see it more fleshed out. Congratz

I really liked the UI pop up descriptions. Reminded me a bit of the Witcher 3 which I am playing now. Unfortunately, I felt like sometimes I was not making any progress or doing any damage. It was fun relying on my math and logic skills. Very addicting game loop. Good use of sound too.
The game is really great, the art and the music is fantastic and I love the way you tied the story in. The leaderboard is a great touch. Very impressive.

Really fun and enjoyable game, reminds me a bit about that party game where you have to guess the next card and you have to do that until you finish the set of cards.
I liked your sprites and UI elements, but some more explanation of the mechanics would've helped me get started quicker (this could be a me problem). I'm interested to see what playstyles/upgrades you could add to this going forward!
Yay, I got to the top of the leaderboard! (939). Took a while before I got the hang of what was going on, but felt much more tactical by the end of the game :D.
