I love chess! I tried to pull the Bowdler Attack and it worked out very poorly LMAO - maybe you could have some quick tutorials on specific openings and tactics that could work really well in this game and also in actual chess too! I'm curious to see how specific openings and tactics in chess play out in this game versus in actual chess! Thank you so much for showing your game! Good luck the rest of the jam!

Wow the amount of work you've been able to put in just 4 days ?! It feels like it's close to a full release and I really think that with small adjustments it could totally be sold on games marketplaces. Love chess and love roguelike deckbuilding so GGs you've hit the spot !
Absolutely amazing. Best in jam imo. If you told me you spent months making this I would believe you, just such a well crafted, well executed and fun idea. Looks great, fun synergies and thoughtful design. Obviously there could be more but like, this is just astonishing for a game jam project. I would love to see a full game of this I would honestly happily pay for it as it is lol.
I do kinda see the point some other commenters are making that it's only kinda related to the theme, but I still think it's well implemented and I think the game is fantastic. Good job!

This was cool - like a small taster before Gambit releases next year. It initially felt like the countdown theme was added as a bit of an afterthought but it actually made for pretty interesting gameplay which forced moves I wouldn't have otherwise made. I really enjoyed this.
Theme was tenuous I feel but that's no big deal. Art and music was polished and the gameplay was fun simplified version of chess.
Random X Chess is pretty fun and you implemented it very well. The game is really smooth and enjoyable. It is pretty impressive how many content you were able to put in the game. Hats off. The only downside would be that I feel like the countdown theme is not really interesting in your game. It is a bit put there just to be there, the game would be as great without the countdown :/
This game is absolutely incredible! Very creative and entertaining even though I'm not that big into chess, and the presentation is beautiful, great job!

This might be my favourite game of the jam. Very polished, awesome art style, good ambient music, and fun gameplay. Immediately noticed the inspiration from Slay the Spire, which I love, along with chess. Amazing job to everyone involved in making this game!
Great art, card play can be a bit frustrating with so many random moves. But otherwise it does the genre well and feels extremely polished for the jam time.

This game is FULL GAME.. its for sure best game in jam i am like 99,9999 % sure :D i have no negative.. mbe one idk its game or my bad eyes :D but on some cards i cant see cleary text its too small :D but 10/10

That's cool. I think you'll win the jam. The only thing is, I don't quite understand the criteria for adding figures to my collection. It seems like there should be a ton of them, but in reality, there are only 22 at the end of the game.
