a lovely reminder that a game doesn't need challenge to be interesting or engaging. wonderful drawings, and the music gave a sense of awe when the darkness expanded to its largest form. piano was a nice touch hehe. thank you for making this :)

Gorgeous game ! Having both hand drawn art and home made music really is an achievement in such short notice ! I once locked myself by droping the torch in the darkness to pick up a log because then i couldn’t leave the light circle nor pick the torch back up. But except for that it was a lovely experience !

very fun! gave katamari damacy vibes kinda, the sounds and music were fitting, cool art style and very satisfying to solve the main puzzle. could see several stages using this mechanic with different twists to mix it up. also... what is that in the bottom right? in the trees?

This is such a lovely experience, my first playthrough was really fun, I loved seeing how different things made the fire become brighter and stay for longer.  I used the fuel and started running for the tent only to have to run back in panic and I really liked that! The piano changing the music was a fun touch!

The music is phenomenal and I really liked how it became crunchy when you went into the dark with the torch! One issue I did run into with the torch was that if I was already out in the dark, set it down and picked up a larger log I got stuck as it wouldn't then let me put down the log to pick up the torch again.

Overall I love the artstyle, the vibe for the whole game is really cohesive and solid and fits the theme perfectly! nice work!!

really cool arty game, love a bit of the handdrawn look and it's a nice idea that emits a nice atmosphere. Only real trouble I had was the items taking too long to spawn back in if you fail, it's easier to just reset, but other than that it was a sweet little deal.

Really enjoyed the game, the soundtrack and visuals are very immersive, it's quite challenging and pretty satisfiying to see the fire grow!

The art is really cool, and the music is nice and cozy. I wish there were more items like the planks, as they would make the progression longer and make finding a camp feel even more rewarding.

I also found a small exploit: if you pick up a small branch and then drop it, it turns into a thicker branch. I'm not sure if it affects anything—I just happened to notice it.

Overall, it was a nice experience. I made it all the way to the end!

It was a bit annoying to see the log I wanted to pick up get swallowed by the dark abyss. 5 stars on audio tho, the soundtrack is amazing!! The art is really good too :D

Lovely artwork, premise, and feel for the game!! I feel like I could play this for hours with how it lulls you into a rhythm.  Great work!

It's very short but oh so sweet - audio that builds up as the fire gets bigger, the beautiful charcoal artstyle, and the gameplay is simple but satisfying. If only camping in real life at night could have that music playing.
