Nice game! The visuals are straightforward and the overall feel is quite polished. I like how the gremlins behave, I wasn't expecting them to jump at the player lol.
I'm glad it caught you be surprise, thank you for playing!
I love the way map getting bigger. It was more fun to play then I expected. A fun puzzle platformer. Good job!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing.
Cool idea with killing order! though instead of memorizing which is which, it would be better if the gremlins are colored based on number and they act worse or more frantic the higher their number is.
Thanks for playing. It may not be particularly noticeable, but the gremlins with a higher number are more likely to try and jump on the player!
Please tell me those sound effects were made by you haha, I'm a sucker for home-made mouth sound effects! Cute little concept, and it can sometimes be difficult to actually remember which fella to stomp on next, so it has a nice little bit of difficulty as well. It's a very good example of something simple being effective and well thought out. Like one of the other comments mentioned I really liked the zoom out to the larger screen, and just thought the whole thing was crisp and clean. Good job!
That's right :) Thank you very much playing and for the feedback!
Simple concept but I like it! Love the transistions when it zooms out
Thanks for playing!
Dang this is super fun! The little guys are so cute, and you cooked up with those transitions
Thank you! Glad you liked them.
I love your take on memory games :D, I loved it, and the progressing into it getting more tricky, amazing work :) ♥
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I loved the transitions as the level grew bigger, very satisfying
Glad you liked the transitions, thank you for playing!
cool game i enjoy the memory aspect of the game
Thank you!
It is very creative interpretation of the theme, i like simple and cute art and animations of the character and env.
the game loop is very good.
great job man!
Thank you very much for playing, I'm glad you liked it!
I really liked your approach to the theme, it was really creative. And the game is kinda hard after they start spawning randomly at like 5. Just as a feedback, you can make the counter a little less. 200 seemed too much but other thatn that I enjoyed it.
I'm glad you liked it! The score deducted is equal to the gremlin's number, so as these numbers increase it diminishes your score more quickly, and a successful run should only take about 5-10 minutes. Although, this could be clearer and I did not get round to fully balancing the game, so this is much appreciated feedback, thank you :)
Buttery smooth gamefeel. I really like all the animations for popping up, and the first zoom-out had me go :O
It took me a while to notice they had more variations than just color. Nice touches!
I'm very happy with the scope of this project. None of it felt incomplete. In fact, I think my biggest critique is I'd just like 'more'. More twists, more inputs, more complications. Not a bad note at all for a <72 hr game.
Maybe the character input was a little float-y, but that's just tuning, not a fundamental misstep. Very happy to spend twenty minutes here.
Thank you very much for the kind feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully there will be more to come :)
Good one.
Thank you for playing.
This game had me sweating buckets when I had to count down from ten holy. Cool concept! The controls were quite good and the art has a simple elegance that I really like. Overall, a good game!
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you found that level stressful! :)
Controls well! I've played a few platformers from this jam and it's one of the better feeling ones. Also no bugs from what I could tell. Feels very polished for what it is.
Thank you for the kind feedback!
Wow, I love the smoothness and art style 😁what game engine did you use to make this?
Thank you for playing, glad you liked it! I used the Godot game engine: Godot Engine - Free and open source 2D and 3D game engine
