Really loved how cosy the game vibe is and especially loved the art!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We had fun balancing a cozy feel to the stressful nature of countdowns. Happy to hear you liked the art!

Thanks for playing!

Loved the way you implemented the theme! good job

Developer

Thanks! What is life but a series of gated time challenges?

Submitted(+1)

I like the concept of life as a countdown. also the art work is Awesome overall a great game...

Developer

Thank you! We had a blast making it.

You are so smart and I am so dum. I failed the snooze minigame I think a million times before I realized you are supposed to NOT. In my defense what friend group is waking up at 5:30am to see a movie, your friends are CRAZY.

Adorable narrative warioware-esque and it was so smart to let me practice the minigames so you can practice minigames if you can't handle the time pressure originally OR IF YOU BRAIN HAS TRAINED YOU TO PRESS BUTTONS AND YOU CAN'T HELP YOURSELF.

Anyways great job, this was one of my fave games from the jam!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words.  I think we could maybe telegraph that the very first alarm should not be snoozed through a bit more.

We really appreciate the kind words.

Submitted(+1)

Very good!!  It took me a couple of tries to realise that doing the snooze is what was causing me to fail hahaha.  Also exiting the bus is so stressful 😬😬

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We wanted to play around with what was success. Hope you had fun.

Submitted(+1)

I made it yeah !!! Very funny game, and I like the fact that you can "fail" the snooze phase and that's actually what you have to do to be here in time. A great way to reward player curiosity !

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We wanted to set the tone right from the start that “failing” isn’t really game over, it’s just a checkpoint that carries over into the story.

Thanks for playing!

A good, simple game, even though I didn't manage to beat it—not even on my second try.

Developer

Oh no, thank you for playing though! Was there any particular part that gave you trouble?

Submitted(+1)

Nice game. I really enjoyed the art style.

Developer

Thank you! Glad to hear you liked the art style as well. Wanted to keep it simple but still clear with enough detail for each scenario.

Thanks for playing!

The game was very cool, short but it was encouraging to keep playing until finally getting in this photo (i needed to be in it). I'd say that the mini game could be a bit more balanced, like some give you really long timers that you really don't need, but i know that it can be hard to achieve in the context of a jam. Anyways the game visuals was really cute, i love the hand drawn aesthetic !

Overall good job on this entry, i had fun, keep up the good work !

Developer

Thank you! Our goal was really to try and explore a “fail” state that still felt light and silly to encourage someone to try again. Noted on some of the timers! We’ll definitely look into that if we have time to update this after the jam.

Happy to hear you liked the visuals! We went with a sketchbook/journal look since it fit the theme, and it worked out time-wise since it’s a simpler render.

Thanks for playing!

Oh this was a cute little game to play, it was short but fun. I couldn't make it to the photo booth the first time but managed to do so the second time! I really liked the visuals and music, it was so relaxing.

Developer

Thank you! We wanted to make something simple but still play around with the theme. Congrats on making it to the group photo!

Happy to hear that the overall vibe was relaxing (not counting the character’s stress at making it to the photo 😅)

Thanks for playing!

A very cute slice of life game! I struggled a bit with trying to get off the bus, I'm playing with a trackpad and I could never fully finish the game because I wasn't fast enough, even with practice in the mini game area
Other than that I really enjoyed the narrative! Please tell me that the character is meant to be getting up at 5:30pm and not am lol!
Well done on submitting :)

Developer

Thank you! Noted on the bus, we got another note regarding that part being tricky on trackpad as well, so thanks for letting us know!

Glad you enjoyed the narrative! And yes, the character was meant to meet up with their friends in the evening, don’t worry. 😂

Thanks for playing!

Made it to see my face in the picture at last! Loved that the game doesn't punish you for failing and the story continues. The bus experience is extremely true to life :D :D :D Well done!

Developer(+1)

Congrats on making the group photo! Yes, we wanted to put a spin on the “fail” state where, it’s not really that much of a big deal that you missed that specific moment, just that it affects the “checkpoint.” Sometimes life just happens!

Yes, and the bus crowd will always be there when you’re in a rush. 😅

Thanks for playing!

Such a cozy game! I really loved it

It felt like an interactive slice of life

Developer

Thank you! Glad you mentioned the slice of life; that’s what we were going for to put a cozy spin to the countdown theme. Well, as cozy as running late can be. 😅

Thanks for playing!

interesting idea to combine minigames in a narrative

Developer

Thank you! We wanted to push ourselves on how to add interactive elements in a narrative. Happy to see that people have been enjoying it so far!

Ngl I was stressing over the smallest things by the end 😭 Really fun concept, and the mini games made the whole run fly by. Nice job!

Developer

The final sprint adds to the stress, yeah? 😅 Happy to hear you enjoyed it! We had fun with the mini games as well.

Thank you for playing!

The mini games to help with narractive choices was really creative.

Developer

Thank you! We wanted something silly to balance the simple but time-crunch mini-games, but still wanted to tie it all together.

Thanks for playing!

Pretty nice mini games and narrative, great work!

Developer

Happy that the minigames and narrative worked together. 😊

Thank you for playing!

It's a pretty nice and fast game, with addictive music. For some reason, when I got off the bus in the web version, the block sometimes stuck to my mouse, forcing me to start over. However, all the actions are timed and relevant to the theme.

Developer

Thank you! We figured with the game of countdown...why not have multiple (within reason ? 😅). Credit where credit is due, alkakrab makes amazing music, so kudos to them!

Noted on the block bug! Glad you were able to finish the game despite that though.

Thank you for playing!

I like how the theme was implemented, I had to try a few times to get a good ending but its a fun little game

Developer

Thank you! We had fun brainstorming how we could interpret the theme and had a couple of ideas before landing on this one. We liked the silliness that we could get with the mini-games and the narrative.

Congrats on getting the good ending, and thanks for playing!
