How does your game fit the theme?
The protagonist has been bit by a zombie and is counting down her remaining hours. The idea of "hours left" plays a big role in the narrative.

I felt really bad when I had to kill Nathan :(
Anyways, the idea of count down as a time in life with the memories is REALLY good
The mechanics is simple and also complements the narrative very well, without drawing all the attention
The character development is great, even with limited screen time, we get to know them well
In the ending, I got a feeling of: “Well, it’s really over” and these feelings hit me so hard LOL
Well done!
This was some nice narrative and the artstyle was great , GG
Wonderful game
What a great narrative game this was. I really liked it. Very well put together. Poor Nathan... I am pretty jealous my own chair doesn't make me feel that way!
Love the art! Mood is great too
I loved it. Reusing the countdown as an indicator of time period is really creative. Great story as well.
Zombies stories always make me so sad (in a good way and a bad way). This was such a good expierience.
Yes! This is one of the ideas I had about the theme and I'm shocked I haven't seen more of it! You took the idea a different way then I would have but it's amazing! Massive well done!
The post-apocalypse setting is one of my favorites for media, and I think you captured the melancholy of the situation really well. It's genuinely well done.
P.S. I think the meter really has it in for me. It was dodging like Neo at one point.
The subversion of the axe mechanic at the end was very powerful! Thought there was a strong balance of storytelling and interactivity throughout, I felt engaged with both sides. Great work!!
Really well told story. The axe minigame works really well to add some gameplay to the story while also not being too intrusive. All the flashbacks build the world so much and really sell the relationship Marla had with all the other characters. The countdown to Marla's end, as well as showing when flashbacks take place, is such a good use of the theme as well.
Really enjoyed this!
Wow man that was really good. Using the countdown as a way of grounding flashbacks while maintaining a non linear story is a really clever take on the countdown theme. The music and art were really good (especially sylvia dancing it looked great lol), and I quite liked the story. I think the axe/matchstick minigame could have been fine tuned a small bit in terms of difficulty. The cursor you're aiming for should ideally be more frantic and move faster during the tasks she finds the harder to do (like killing her brother). But thats a minor complaint, overall its a really well made game and you should be proud of yourself.
It was such an immersive experience!
Amazing storyline! and I dont know how you call it but I really like the room at the center being surrounded by only black
Loved it! Such haunting audio...
I loved this! Really nice well written Interactive Fiction. The writing was great, very well paced and the art supported it so well. Great job!
Wow this game is awesome!
This is an amazing short story horror game that has special character stories, personalities, and cool survival apocalypse atmosphere. Even though, this game's design and graphic is not in first person, itkinda reminds me of games like walking dead and resident evil with a goal to survive and pass through each stage.
Very creative in terms of character lines and stuff that happens around. Wish it was longer or if it was extended, I would definitely like to play more and see what happens to the main character at the end or other possible side characters. The plot twists and flashbacks/dreams were really cool too.
The simplicity and interactions of this game made me invested in the story while having horror vibes to survive and make it till the end. Highly recommend! Great job on the narrative, audio, and pretty rich story!
Wow the narrative in this game is awesome, and I loved the audio that went with it too
Best writing I have seen from this jam BY FAR. Narritive 10/10. I miss Sean :(
