Hack into servers. They will trace you back, so you only have limited time. As you process through the stpry, a global countdown appears - save your friend before he is traced. NOTE: Made during GMTK in 48 hours (instead of 96 due to work).

I like Super-Cali Fragi-Linux xD that made me laugh. I like how the commands are inspired by real commands. I wasn't really sure how to manage mischief but still had fun!
It works somewhat right now. Basically you need to find the next IP address and hack into the next server and from there to the next one.
Spoiler: If you open the developer console with F12, you see all IPs with their port and password in the console - kind of a hacker easteregg in a hacker game. :D
pretty cool! slightly overwhelming, though I imagine that was the goal. I like all of the minigames
Yes and No. What I really would like to add are Upgrades, so that the game gets easier and feels even more like progression. So why it should not be easy, I would like to make it less overwhelming after the Jam! Thanks!

This is a really cool game. Surprised how fleshed out the terminal is.
That's a cool hacking game, i love the working terminal :D. Issue was with text in windows not fit and not able to resize, scroll sideways. This can be a cool bigger game with hacking, detective style. SOmething like you get requests to hack, extract data, destroy something and get paid. Buy then more servers, computer parts or whatever :D. Nice job!
Yeah we had many more ideas as well. Downloading binary (upgrades) from other servers that make 'PortHack' and 'Ccrack' easier. DDoS attack, a typing speed game (like TypeRacer), finding a password in a wall of text/big log.

Nice little operating system you got there. Nice art style as well, love the kali wallpaper haha. Somehow reminds me of Bitburner

One inspiration for us was the game Hacknet (really recommended to play), but I think we found our very own idea of a game. :)
