Creative idea and the justification is hilarious. Short and simple.
Thank you! Luckily we managed to come up with it pretty quickly :3
Good idea!! Great job
Thank you :3
I never thought I would see a cat helping an old woman cross the street :P
Super cute, nice work!
If we had more time the plan was to make a special sprite of nugget pushing the old lady, but we unfortunately did not have the time for that. Still, thank you :3
I like the game idea a lot! It's a good narrative and premise that makes the gameplay feel more important. The tasks aren't too difficult to do but I did get stuck on the ice-cream task for a bit since I didn't notice the green (I presume money) on the opposite of the street but still it was fun! The artstyle works but could use some more polishing.
Thank you! It was our artist friends' first time doing pixel art, so we'd be curious to know what feels off about the art to help them improve :3
Save poor Nugget!!!! I thought you did a great job with the narrative and overall gameplay is great. nice job
Thank you for the compliments :3
So cute!!I really liked the heart stop concept
Thank you! Our artists did a great job :3
Heartwarming game. Found a small issue: you wil get pushed outside the collider and get stuck on the road after helping grany crossing the road if you trigger her from above
Wow, haven't heard that one before, then again, this game did have ~20 minutes of playtesting, so we're not surprised. Thanks for the compliment!
What a fun little game. I love the story and the idea especially. Great job!!!
Thank you! luckily, we managed to come up with the idea pretty quickly after some group brainstorming :3
you want to add a cover image to attract more players, you can do it now even
We're Working on it! Our team really pushed to get the game submitted, and we're a little worn out, but it is a priority!
Loved the idea, took me a minute to figure out the controls and the collision detection on the environment was a little bit clunky, which when you're on a short timer is quite stressful, but I suppose that's part of the point. Overall I loved this, a masterclass in telling a short, fun, and wholesome story. Congrats on the submission!
Thanks for the massive compliment! Yeah, the collision is a little funky in some spots, but that's mostly because we didn't want to dynamically change the player's layering. But still, thank you :3
It's a really cute game, trying to save a cat from going to hell is definitely a unique take on this theme lol. The games pretty short and easy, and the player controller could use some work, but it's a solid game that clearly has a lot of thought put into it. Something that I could see myself playing again if it was fleshed our more, good game.
Thank you so much! The game is definitely Very buggy, but we barely got it working before the jam ended and didn't have any time to playtest. We are proud of this project, but it kind of doesn't meet our standards.
Game jams never meet your standards, that's just the nature of them. Making a game is more than most can do, I'd call this game a win.
Very charming game. The level design was quite clever for what this is. Walking the old lady across makes you see the money, going for the money makes you see the rat. Pretty tight and a solid short experience.
Yeah, all of that was totally intentional and not completely coincidental. Definitely. Thanks for the compliments though, we did put a good amount of time into laying the town out to spread out the deeds.
I won! Nice game :) not too difficult but nice little stories to help solve!
Thank you! We're glad it managed to come together!
