Very cool introduction ahah!
Nice one :)
Very cool game. If you have a second, I’d super appreciate a rating back on my game The Last Light
well done and really creative take on the theme. I enjoyed the gameplay overall and would like to see it expanded on if you keep developing this in the future! only note on your pixel art would be to make sure you scale things so the pixel art sizing matches throughout and I think it would clean up a lot of what you already have looking really good visually. :D
Thank You so much! i totally agree with the scalling of things (particularly with the props in the crafting area). ill definitely look into that in the future!
Wow. This is an amazing work. I love the fact that you use the "GMTK 96 Hours" as countdown.
The intro is perfect and just push the player on what he has to do.
All the mini games to find the cure are fun to play and the time allocation for the player is really well balanced. We have pressure and that's fun.
2 endings ? Really love the idea. I have to finish the game to find the other one ^^.
Thank You So Much! im glad You enjoyed the intro it was very fun to make!
I really liked the interestring idea and concept of the game
Thank You!
Really interesting idea, nicely done trailer on YouTube! Art and gameplay looks good, you did a great job <3
Thank You So Much!
creative and somewhat ambitious! i just would have liked for there to be a tutorial its kinda confusing at first
Thank You! This was my first Jam so i really didnt know how much i can pull off. ill be adding a tutorial in the post jam release!
Such a cool idea ! The gameplay is unique and felt different from the other entries. I just would have love a tutorial but overall it was fun. Congrats !!
Thank You! will definetely be adding more tutorials and further polishing post Jam!
I liked your game, it's really creative and fun ! I did find everything a bit confusing (I realise late that I find recipe in the books, or that I could sleep more than one hour) I think I found the cure but I'm not sure which ending I got. One thing that was really annoying is that if I ran out of energy while making chemistry and went to sleep, the ingredients would disappear instead of return to the bench. overall a very good submission.
Thank You for your feedback! The game Needs some more tutorials and visual/audio queues i agree.
The art style is great! With a little more introduction for some mechanics, this could be even better. Really nice work!
Thank You So Much!
I absolutely love the artwork, it gives the game so much charm, and is very reminiscent of old point and click PC games! I couldn't figure out the rat part, but I really like the concept overall, would love to see more post-jam!
Thank You So Much! im glad you liked my art work, and ive been taking notes from the feedback (including adding more tutorials for the rat and crafting systems) so i can further polish and rerelease the game.
What a cool game! I was very entertained, too bad it had a bug and the screen went black. Very creative. Good job.
Thank you! Are you sure you the black screen wasnt the ending? The screen should go black under 2 circumstances either you ran out of time or you formulated the cure (and injected an infected rat with it). if neither of those things happened do you remember what happened so i can fix it in t he future? That would be very a aprrectiated!
I had a blast with this it really draws you in, searching for clues on how to craft the cure is really cool, I'd love to play a full release of this one day it's such a fantastic concept! well done!
Thank You So Much!
This was fun, I like the concept, quite engaging
Thank You!
I really enjoyed playing the game. At first i couldn't understand anything and had to look at the tutorial video. There is need for some more explaining. The game is really fun and enjoyable !:)
Im glad you found it fun! I totally agree with the lack of tutorials, ill be sure to pay more attention to that in the future!
I little bit of more guidance at least at the beggining it would so appreciated, or at least with the testing rat part, because i was so lost there, also the hud bugged, when i clicked on the rats so i dont really knew what was happening. The scan words and the mix-chemicals games are understandable though, but just put the names of the ingredients there, don't make it that it pops up if you hovered it long enough, kinda makes this a slow process (even more if the player don't realize about this detail to see the names)
The rats part was definentely a bit rushed, but then again i probably couldve spent another hour or so on it. I totally get what you mean with the tooltips taking too long or just not working great, they were something built into the engine so i guess i took them for granted, ill probably be implementing my own tooltips next time. Thank You So Much For The Feedback!
Amazing game, it reminded me about my childhood dream to become a doctor. I'm kinda struggle with the mix-chemicals mechanic, I think you should add more instruction for it. The final thing is the sfx is too big when I first entered into the game, a botton to adjust will easy fix it. Anyway nice game, really enjoy it
Thank You for the feedback! I tried to adjust the audio in way that it would be fine without audio controls as i didnt have time to add them in, but i guess it didnt work out as i intended. I totally understand the crafting can be a bit confusing, i made the grave mistake of not giving it a tutorial, but ill definently keep that in mind in future!
Very interesting game! At first, I really struggled to understand how to mix the chemicals, but then I finally noticed the tooltips, and it became much easier! The art style is appealing, and I really liked the overall idea of the game, I enjoyed playing it))) Congrats on the submission!
Thank You! ive gotten alot of feedback on those tool tips, maybe its because i didnt convey that they existed in the first place. Ill definetely Pay more attention to that next time!
A nice concept. I like the scan mechanic and the energy system. I didn't understand how to mix chemicals and there were no labels for the chemicals. I would suggest adding a tutorial or at least naming the chemicals. Good work overall, though I wasn't able to finish the game unfortunately.
There were names for the chemicals in the form of tooltips, if you hover on one long enough. it was something built in from the engine and ive noticed people complaining it takes too long or is otherwise too inconsistent. i didnt think it was too much of an issue in development. but i guess since i didnt give clear instructions of its existence people just dont notice them. Thank for your feedback! ill definitley pay more attention to those things in the future.
Great concept of the game, I really liked crafting the cures, but it was a bit hard to understand instructions, especially those at the rats!
Thank you so Much! The crafting system took way to long to work, and even afterwards it was flawed. Ive also now realized that i didnt do a good job of explaining how everything works since i noticed many people dont notice (or otherwise understand) the tab on right side of the screen. ill definitely be paying closer attention next time!
