Nice use of simple colors and text effects, even if the art style was simple you managed to capture some emotion with it. Only thing that I missed was some music and audio to help set the mood. Other than that this was a solid short story and visual novel.
On one hand, excellent story! On the other, there is just story with a few choices. Like a very unbalanced experience, But I don´t regret playing it tho. Well done!
I severely underestimated how long it takes tool write lots of branching choices haha, I ended up with a lot more of a linear experience than planned. I had so much fun writing though, I want to go back in a flesh it out some more. That’s for your review!
First 5/5 narrative good job!
Thank you!!
The game seemed stuck for me after the second NYE countdown and I'm not entirely sure it's supposed to do this...but I'm choosing to believe it means there's no year after that and honestly this ending works for me.
I don't mind the text-only graphics but for this kind of minimalist experience I would have like some audio, apart from that this was really moving and beautifully written, congratulations!
Awe bummer, there’s two more after that! Weird bug I wonder what happened. I’m glad you like it! I really needs some background music though I agree
It would be great if it has some Audio in the game but rather than that I enjoyed it.
Thank you! Yeah that was the plan haha. I’m going to make a post jam update though
This game's premise is super creative! Well done!
Feels very bittersweet and nostalgic, loved all the different choices you could make!
