I like the painting style, but a pro-tip that make your life a bit easier, try out Krita you can get a lot of similar textures and it has built in animation tools. (but do what feels good to you!)
I actually use Krita for all of my drawings specifically Pencil 4 soft :D

Actually really nice game. At first it was very confusing without any tutorial. But after u get a hold of it ,its really interesting .The top down and 2d platformer switch was really creative and fun to play. Great game

Nice game! You introduced several things in the game without any tuto.
The only issue I had was during the cutscene where the art was not fully visible in fullscreen or the text taking too much space. If I am not mistaken, you might need to change some display options in the Project Settings.

Wow that was very adorable! Pretty good combination of mechanics as well as their unique implementation. Although, some parts were lacking (like how you can just keep going right in the first level). Other than that, it had a fun story and some cool music! Great job.

Such a cute game! I never usually play cute games but I had fun with this. Its a solid game, has a really good art style and good platforms, I like how gradually there are different things to expect. The vibe is great and the pressure of time is there. Fun game!

This is such a CUTEEE game! I love it! I love the theme behind it, the aesthetic and also the vibes overall. Even though some parts of the game needs polishing, this is still such an enjoyable game and an endearing one as well! Though the levels and the mechanics still does need to be polished further but overall, I really like it! Great work!

Of course!
I think more feedback and scene transitions as a start would be great! Like when you died for example, instead of just going into the lose screen, maybe add a simple death animation or a screenshake before transitioning. Perhaps a fade to black transition could also make it feel more polished.
But yeah, essentially just more player feedback to make it more awesome!

I couldn’t find the end in level 1 or 3, but I did completed level 2! Where are they hidden? The controls are fun, the art is very pretty I love the color palette. The animation of the little guy is so cute! Love the falling especially. Good job on the jam!
The first level is just right and down and the third is just forward
