Really fun idea initially that definitely has potential, although I’m not too convinced with how it fits the theme.
Super fun game. Great job !
Fun game!! Great job
Fun and very creative, I love how you are able to turn such a simple idea into something so much more satisfying and interesting
Fun and smart! Your idea on the power ups mixes well with the mechanics itself, and also implements the theme in a perfect way! I say its a masterpiece!
Really fun little counting game! Reminds me a lot of fizz buzz :)
Initially, I was confused by the inability to use the small keyboard's enter key for input, and it took me quite a while to figure out that only the large enter key could be used.
It's an interesting memory + typing game, which is great!
And the game combines the original mini-game rules with the roguelite building elements very well, which is also surprising! Good job!
Thanks for playing and this feedback! I’ve been working/gaming primarily on laptops for so long that it didn’t even occur to me that there might be another way to enter the numbers— really good to have this pointed out!
Was really fun trying to keep track of all of the "rules" in my head. very clever! Good job!
Thanks for playing!!
The game is really fun to play, congrats ! and it's addictive x')
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
This got addicting, very quickly! I was surprised at seeing how I almost never encountered the same round rule twice, even though I played the game twice, resulting in some great variety.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.
Really cool game! It was a bit cumbersome at times typing the numbers, maybe you could try a version where all the numbers are shown and clickable instead, might increase the pace a bit? Really fun idea though, well done
Thanks for playing, appreciate the feedback!
Nice one, as a mobile game with a touch entry this would be a great waiting-for-the-bus game. Really solid execution, good work.
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
Fun game! very creative application of the theme, it was pretty fun to keep the numbers in mind, though i felt a bit confused by the rules at times. Our game is a roguelite too btw
Thanks for playing, really appreciate the feedback! I agree, with more time I’d really like to implement the rules more clearly to avoid that confusion.
Will be sure to check out your game too!
This was a pretty fun game. I appreciate that the timer doesn't start until you start counting, so you get time to mentally prepare.
Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed the game :) I struggle to understand it at first but that was totally on me lol, very addictive when you understand it so great job friend!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoy!
Dude, I love this game. Took me a minute for the game to click, but once it did. I'd say this is the first addictive game I've run into in the jam. Great work!
Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Fun game to play with drinks and turns out its fun as a video game as well! I'd maybe enable enter on the numb pad so I can type even faster!
Good suggestion. Thank you for playing!
Amazing Game Love it its super fun, there was the one Two Spaces rule i didn't understand but all of the other aspects were Amazing, 10/10
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!!
This game seems like it has a lot of potential, and I would love to see a full release. I think it mostly needs more content and more synergies. The input method feels a bit clunky, but I can't think of a better way to do it. As it stands, this is a fun little balatro style timewaster, good for a quick 15 minute run. The other thing that could be improved is the difficulty curve, which at present is quite steep and requires both good luck and fast typing to get past the first few levels.
Thank you for playing! Really appreciate the feedback!
Loved this! Cheers to the Governor is my favourite drinking game in real life so I was immediately intrigued by the idea of Balatrifying it (though I've always played it as "Cheers to the General")
Strongest point is that this is a solid concept - getting more and more rules stacking on top of each other is just plain fun. Trying to type as fast as you can but also being careful not to misremember the rules is great tension.
I think to take it to the next level I'd love to see more ways to bring buildcraft into the mix. I feel in it's current implementation there's not much you really consider when making your round-to-round choices. There's no feeling of "oh I've picked up a bunch of rules that synergise well" or "this run I'm doing a letters build", maybe next time I'll do a "descending runs" build or something. There is some of that, like if you have the words with friends house rule you're likely going to take a bunch of letter replacement round rules. But I think it would really sing if it was turned up a notch!
My only gripe is that the combination of font choice and the CRT effect makes a lot of the text quite hard to read. I thought I was going mad wondering how a rule could "replace 18 with 18" before eventually realising one of those 18s was in fact a 16.
Really nice work!
Thanks for playing! And thank you for the detailed feedback!
