Incredibly smooth game - the music and UI animations were just lovely. I really liked the design and the encounters that force you to rely solely on the minus operator.

One small hiccup early on: I initially thought I had to place the number on the operator space itself (though that might just be on me xD)

While playing, I had an idea - maybe on certain levels, players should have to subtract exactly the given number, with a penalty for going below. Right now, it sometimes feels a bit too easy to win.

Was really good and enjoyable!

Loved the math aspect and not having to do only one math equation, but it felt as though adding and subtracting was pointless, as multiplying always results in a greater number.

I also felt a bit dissapointed to see no negative numbosses (that you have to add to), and the allowance of impresision to the subtraction (when you do "16 - 24" its equal to 0 and not -8).

Also maybe some upgrades felt redundant, like positive number don't heal and positive numbers deal damage, an upgrade structure would have been better, where one turns into the other.

But overall it was amazing.

made it to lvl 15! :P
this is really fun and addictive. it took me a while to understand the controls - but after that it was really stimulating to drag the numbers! :)

This game is fun! The gameplay is very addictive, and the upgrades are really satisfying.

The upgrade that square value on minus is very OP, and the 0/1 upgrade has saved me from so many bad situations. Maybe I just haven't found the right upgrade yet, but the plus-only bosses are very tough and ended my run.

Love to see someone using the same theme as me :3. The UX is very satisfying!

Very enjoyable. Sometimes it feels too random but the strategizing rounds in advance is there. I got to level 18 on my second run mainly because I got double all negative numbers 3 times in a row and positive is the damage. There could be some aspect of strategizing in each round which is now just about finding the most optimal combination (maybe some additional goals or enemies have effect when damaged into some interval and selecting cards to redraw). The graphics and animations are extremely good and make it really satisfying to achieve combos.

Wow very nice take on the game!

Good job the game is very polished and the upgrades on the deck really give it a Slay the Spire feel (I game where I spent many hours ahah)

Loved it!

Interesting play on the theme. I really like the reward system of how to build your own deck. I did find myself wanting to make combinations. Like, add 3 + 6 to make 9, then multiply it by -5 to take out the 45 in one big swoop. I think being able to create massive multipliers by cleverly stacking increasing amounts of things in the right order could make for really satisfying play.

Wonderful entry! The aesthetics work so well together. Movement feels great, there is a lot of expression in deck creation, especially since the upgrades are sick. I might have missed it, but at some point I forgot all of my upgrades and wanted to see what they were. But other than that, this was super fun and an impressive jam entry!

Also this isn't directly related to this entry, but I love your website! Such unique design it was cool getting to see the full scope of projects you get up to :). Keep making and sharing!

Great game! The visual effects are really polished. Also here's a totally normal amount of damage:

my 2 -82000 hydrogen bombs combined with the power-up that squares numbers that go through the minus sign, possibly with other power-ups that I forgot about because I couldn't check them after obtaining them, dealing like 3e11 damage while the bosses were barely at 2e7, in the beginning it was fun but then it got quite boring as the bosses were scaling really slowly & there were never any good rewards, dare I say there were mostly only detrimental rewards, apart from the rare x2 that landed on my 2 military weapons. I got to level 89, a plus boss ended me despite my "positive numbers deal damage too" power-up, my 9 turns & my 7-card large deck to consistently draw my 2 monuments (I got a "turn all numbers negative" followed by a "mirror 2 cards" & a "remove all negative numbers", so I got a deck with only 2 massive cards)

The core mechanic of combining addition, subtraction, and multiplication to melt down the card's health to zero is super engaging. I really like the deck system and the clever use of random numbers, plus the end-of-level bonuses add a great layer of strategy. It’s simple to pick up, highly replayable, and very well executed!

I really love the concept of that game, very juicy, sound is perfect. The reward system adds a very rich strategic system to the gameplay, it as so much potential! At first, I thought that I could use all my numbers and choosing the best calculus to do a big number of damages, but I only could choose two numbers and an operator (I hope I didn't miss some important gameplay part to make big numbers) ? Maybe a more stastifying idea is that you can use each operator once, to build the final number to damage the numboss. For example, when you cross an operator, you can stock the result on the square and the operator is disabled, so you can use another number with the other enabled operators. And if there is a Numboss with a special color, that means you have to finish with this operator. Of course, you can use only one operator with you don't stock the result and damage immediately. I really wanted to do that on your game XD (and I love your game so much, I am sure it can be a banger with some gameplay improves).

This game is fantastic! There's so much variety packed into one simple yet very clever game loop.  The addition bosses had me panicking and the 0 doing 1k damage upgrade at the start began to slow me down which made me change and adapt my strategy. Unfortunately, it was a little too easy as I got to level 41 on my first try and stopped playing due to the lack of pushback. Overall, very solid game and I think it deserves a top spot for how clever and well made it is. Also seeing the other comments, my numbers are tiny lol

Finally my 1,000+ hours playing deck builders paid off... This felt really well made and polished!
