One of my favorite games of all time. It was already a perfect game, but when they released the DLC "lever" I was completely astounded that they managed to perfectly capture the spirit of the base game and expand on the story in such a thoughtful way. I also enjoy watching speedrun content of this game on youtube. the sheer amount of strategy and skill they put into playing this game blows my mind, and is really a testament to its mechanical depth. Of course the story is the star of the show here. It's been a while since I've seen a game with such a thought provoking and heartwarming narrative. After I finished my first playthrough, I literally couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. And it's backed up gorgeous visuals and an epic soundtrack. You can really tell that the developers had an artistic vision that they worked tirelessly to bring to life and it does not disappoint. The music is one of my favorite of any game. The creative use of silence to highlight important moments was simply incredible. All in all, this is an 11/10 game. I have 2500 hours in it and don't plan to stop any time soon. Can't wait to see what this developer comes up with next!
Lever was supposed to be a free update initially, but I just got more and more ideas. It started taking seconds and more seconds of development until it took up so much time, I'd go broke if it was free. Sorry about it costing 2¢ to play lever :(
Nah man, Lever was legitimately a work of art on top of the masterpiece that was Button. For all of the care that was clearly put into this game, only being 2 cents is an amazing deal. I honestly think it wouldn’t be overpriced even at 3 cents. I’m always glad to support developers who pour their heart and soul into these passion projects. Keep up the good work!
