How does your game fit the theme?
You play as COUNT Dracula, and there's a countdown to the weekend, and there is a timer in the top left during the day that counts down until your shift is over.

A fellow vampire dev checking in, our Counts have very different work weeks :) The approve or deny loop is easy to pick up, find the criteria that doesn’t meet the policy and deny, and just when I thought I had the rules memorized they started changing on me mid week. Nice catch me sleeping moment. Also I got myself a pay raise, so clearly BS Insurance recognizes talent.
One small readability note, the gothic font on the countdown and Start Shift screens took me a second, I initially misread the days til the weekend line. Totally on theme, just worth a squint test.
If you build past the jam, more policy types feel like an easy expansion, RV, motorcycle, boat, the underwriting possibilities are endless.
Are there different pay range percentages that one can achieve through excellent BSInsurance policy work?
Thank you so much for taking the time to play and write excellent feedback!
As of right now, there are not different percentages, but that's a good idea if I ever want to make it so the game tracks how well the player did throughout the game/days.
I really appreciate your comments; they are very motivating.
Had fun playing. Was hoping someone would do a dracula theme.
I like the artstyle and the goofyness. Also thank you for not making us restart after getting fired xD Hopefully the 5% will be enough
Thank you for feedback, and thank you for playing :D
I loved the storytelling and overall art style. I made it through the week, but was fired once - I believe it fires you at 15 seconds left rather than 0 (maybe I missed that rule somewhere), but it took me off guard.
Yeah, at fifteen minutes, you only have about a second and a half before you're fired, and the 0:00 only shows up half a second. I probably could have made that time a bit longer. Thank you for playing, and thanks for the feedback!
I didn't realize immediately that the next loop was the same as the first loop and carried on for 2 days wondering why it has become easier. Some of the insurance claims that came in were bizarrely funny! BTW, would appreciate if you could play and rate my game too.
Thank you for playing! Will do.
The dawn of the day sounds were quite loud! But it was an amazingly cute game. I did my best insurance agent impression and denied every claim and made it through some of the later shifts :).
Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for playing!
Silly premise well implemented, great fun. Great font choice.
Thank you!
If I got 5% pay rise every week I would be rich :D Good job, it was a fun game!
Thank you for playing! :D
groovy
i got fired on the last day </3 hahaha! Really cute game, it reminds me of old-fashioned flash games! The sound and music really stood out to me!
Thank you for playing! <3
Awesome!
I had a lot of fun playing this game. Felt really creative. The music, sound, and art made a great theme. I liked the writing as well.
Thank you for playing! :)
The narrative and art are sublime! I won't lie the intro text made me jump haha
*maniacal laugh*
Thank you for playing my game and commenting! I really appreciate it!
I really enjoyed it, the concept was really cool. The music was nice and the artwork too. It kept me entertained all the way through.
Thank you so much!
Amazing game! I was really hoping poor drac would have a fun weekend scene but I'm glad I at least got there :o
I may have gotten through the even/claim stuff super fast since I started scanning those first and ruling a lot of things out, amazing art and otherwise great time!
Yeah, I would have loved to include a cute pixel art of drac enjoying his weekend but, unfortunately, I cannot draw people.
Thank you so much for playing!!!!
Loved the flavor text! I got a really funny one where one of the answers was "wouldn't you like to know, weather boy?". I like checking info even if timers give me a lil anxiety, so the "Papers, Please" style was very fun. The font for the "x days till the weekend" was a lil hard to read when it was so big, but the other font was fine.
Thank you for the comment and for playing!!
Music is so good it was distracting. Really well developed game with a lot of personality and a very reasonable playtime. Also the X days until weekend screen is an amazing touch.
I know!! That was the main worry about the music. ccosmot COOKED. Thank you for playing!
Very impressed with how well the premise is executed, and a fun take on the "Papers, Please" genre that felt genuinely fresh (in terms of how you look for information). Found the narrative and "X DAYS UNTIL THE WEEKEND" very funny, and thought the music was banging! Good job
Thank you! Thank you!
I enjoyed playing the game! One suggestion is to change the font a little. I had trouble reading X days until the weekend. The game was quite humorous since the parameters for approving claims are ridiculous! You are going in the right direction!
Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for playing!
