Mom, can we have Kerbal Space Program?

No, we have Kerbal Space Program at home.

Kerbal Space Program at home:

In other words, it’s quite a fun game, and the extremely janky physics at this points adds to the fun. Although it’s not as funny when the rocket disintegrates the microsecond after the timer runs out.

My main complaint would be the “seam” in the music (it felt like it was randomly restarting). And maybe a bit too much text for my liking.

Who needs to go up when you can go down?

This game is a Sisyphean exercise in futility. So why can't I stop playing?

because uhh why not

Really silly game, I liked it a lot. Jamming the pieces on just to watch it do like 6 flips then explode was a lot of fun. I only wish there was a little more room to drag parts around. But overall really great work!

Developer(+1)

glad you enjoyed it! i think we overestimated the amount of room because when playing in the editor you could control the peices offscreen

fun premise, and a nice take on the theme (the fact that my first couple of rockets all headed downwards made it even more fitting). Had fun playing

Developer

glad you enjoyed it! (count down? more like go down!)

Really Fun! The randomised pieces definitely made the harder puzzles feel quite luck based but getting the perfect piece and slotting it in with no time left was really satisfying.

Developer

glad you enjoyed it! the luck felt really unfair when you get almost no thrusters i will admit

missed opportunity for not calling it crunch launch hahaha

The combination of the very short time, the stickiness of the controls and the randomness makes this quite hard, but it's a very funny concept

Developer

glad you enjoyed it! (also that's such a good name)

fun game, I tried quite a bit but couldn't get pass the 200m boulder part. I liked the artwork/audio a lot.  Is a simple idea but was well executed and feels creative. It is a bit laggy on web at points, a bit buggy and the full-screen button on itch doesn't seem to work  for your game but the game was very good nonetheless

Developer(+1)

glad you enjoyed it!  (i was sure i removed the fullscreen button too)

The plot is crazy and doesn't make sense. My favorite kind of plot.

glad you enjoyed it!

I liked the concept. Mechanics feel like Bad Piggies. It would be cool if you could "Discard" pieces so you get new ones.

Developer (1 edit)

glad you liked it! (and yes in hindsight we should have added that)

A fun game, but a little hard to play with the pieces being random (especially on later levels).

Thanks for the feeback! We had a structured puzzle mode  with more parts planned but it was pushed out of scope, might work on it post jam!

Great idea ! The physics feel a bit random, give it some love and you'll have a fun game !

There's certainly some  a lot of jank with the joint physics!
