Really cool but too complicated for my small brain ;(
Great polish all around on this one and loved the dynamic 2D and 3D art crossover. Music and sound overall was great and one of the few games thus far I've seen which did it this cleanly! I found one bug when opening your settings menu from the coin tabletop perspective it was constantly pinging what appears to be the noise indicator for your "voice" settings. Only notes I had to write home though about the endless amounts and variations of coins you built in and unique flavor throughout. Great work all around. I had fun with this one and I actually catch a lot of Bad Ideas Production content on "YOUTUBE" (in his voice). Check my game out as well if you get the chance!
Really impressed by the number of rules and complications you all were able to implement!
Very fun, but i keep being 1 off so that makes me mad (it's a skill issue)
Pretty good game. It starts simple but gets very cluttered and hectic towards the end, which I like. You have to do a bit of reading and math, so this game really invokes some ABCYA.com vibes, but I really enjoyed it.
Woah this is amazing!! It reminds me of those old math games I'd play in the computer lab back in elementary school - 10 year old me would've gone craaaaaaazy for a game like this. Everything was so well done across the board!
Straight up a 10/10 game! It's fun, creative, has hilarious dialogue, looks good, sounds AWESOME, the lore goes deep for some reason, a lot of cool details all around (like the "Failure" tablet weighing 1000 grams). I would honestly believe you if you told me this was a $5 game on Steam that took a month to make, the fact that this is a (free) JAM game is absolutely insane
You guys really cooked on this one holy shit
The designs are INSASAANNNEE
1 hour playing this PEAK game W!
iam the worst coin counter in town !!!
The game was fun! it reminds me of papers please, the voice acting was pretty funny and made it more enjoyable.
It was a little difficult to understand how to get the value of the coins but I ended up figuring it out after a couple minutes (mathing is hard, but the book helped)
The only thing I would change is making it so the dialogue isn't as easy to skip through. I tend to just want to see the whole text at once instead of letting the animation play out, but in this case sometimes I ended up skipping dialogue
Nice job overall! feel free to check out our game if you'd like.
I can’t stop laughing and I have work to do. The voice actors deserve a lot of their favorite beverages.
I am the voice actors (all of them). I will be getting crunk tonight per your request.
YOUTUUUUUBE
I really like the game, especially the “Count my coins, coin counter!” voice clips! Just my opinion, but some of the talking noises (not all) seem to be louder/more aggressive in a way? I don’t know how to say it but some talking noises are fine and some just put me off a little. The dialogue is very good though, as is the art! Well done :D
Hey I know ya'll!
This is really well put together and polished, the math is a bit difficult for my brain and I had to break out the note pad just to keep the numbers straight. Good job!
Why am i doing math in a video game...
This was a pretty fun game even though it made me use my brain power a little bit, I like the fact that anything on the table is interactable so you can just pick up the UI and throw them off the table. The weighing system was a little too much for me, I think I kept failing at those sections. I also wished there was a button for a +1000, since it happens pretty often that the total goes above 1000. Aside from that, it has charming visuals and also sound effects.
Yeah, we def want to add a +1000 button and a few more quality of life things like a calc (calculator) and whiteboard of some kind. The difficulty really ramps towards the end too, so I want to make sure people are onboarded a little better.
It's quite fun, it has great art, humour, and audio, all expected from bad ideas productions, but doesn't exactly seem to fit the theme, there's not really a "countdown" in the game, in fact it seems to be all about counting up, so it falls short in that regard
Fair enough! This idea came to us after we exhausted like 60 other ideas and started to separate the theme’s wording. Which led us some weird places like vampire killing ideas and this game because we separated the Count and the act of jotting it Down. We fell in love with the concept but it’s relation to the theme was something I was worried about when we submitted.
Regardless, thank you for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed the game. (BTW: Love your YouTube videos!)
This game is such a unique and charming experience. The presentation, voice acting, and character animations give it so much personality, and the little details around the desk make everything feel alive.
I love how you turned something that sounds boring, like counting coins, into a genuinely fun and funny gameplay loop. The math puzzles are really satisfying, and the whole "Papers, Please but with coins" idea works incredibly well.
The amount of polish and creativity in this feels way beyond a typical jam game. Great job!
The voice acting is really fun, and you made quite a tedious looking job into a really fun game! The physics are quite fun to play around with also, i was rolling a coin that landed on its side for quite some time. Awesome game!
You did an amazing job with this - really fun presentation and attention to detail (stuff like being able to pick up your rank and the little portraits etc got a chuckle out of me). I loved the kinda silly twist on Papers Please here - it got to the point where I kept playing even though I was finding it really hard haha. Very funny, John Diamonds Pissed Me Off.
In all seriousness thanks for playing! We tried so hard to give a very polished experience with a bunch of attention to detail features hehe. BTW I LOVEEE your game it’s so much fun.
