Super unique idea!
a horror game??? in my gmtk game jam????
very spooky game but also very fun, love the moving on the beat and the grace that beating faster when almost caught gives you
also what proceeds after running out of food just makes you feel so helpless and alone, like you just let the poor rabbit die
absolute proof you don’t need words to tell a horror story
This was so stressful 😭I really felt like I was being hunted down! The bunny's movement is really unique! Getting faster and slower depending on how close the wolf is makes for a lot of close calls and panicky moments, which is great! Very nice work!
The atmosphere is so scary I love it!!!
The fact that the tempo picks up as the wolf gets closer is such a brilliant idea
Yeah! I managed to take the west exit! It was very stressful, congratulation for that great idea, it's really well done, I loved it!
This is such a creative idea. I found myself getting tense whenever I was about to be caught. Very fun, great job!
It was a great game, my full comment is in the other page (I didnt know the comment section was separated XD) but its quite frustrating to manage the varying heartrate, perhaps instead of a slow decrease, something like two different speeds wouldve made it more consistent and easier. But overall quite enjoyable and interesting!
Yes I get how this is a bit award. The Idea is that making the inputs gets more difficult with a faster beat in exchange for moving more quickly, but I could not figure out how to telegraph the upcoming rhythm (like a classical rhythm game would) without that feeling worse. I tried updating the beat only on the execution phase so you can follow it in the next input phase but this was to infrequent to feel like it was reacting to the wolf. Maybe your Idea would have worked better. I didn't have a lot of time to experiment so I just left it like this. Glad you liked it still!
The ambiance is really cool ! I was a bit confused what was the goal and where to find the red drops, but I loved the mechanics !
Super spooky! I love the idea, and especially the audio design of the game :)
My only note is that I have no clue where red dots could be, and making traversal this slow personally discourages me from exploring while chased. Regardless, you did an immaculate job at making the situation tense!
Congrats on the submission, it was very very intense! :)
WAIIIIT THIS IS SO SICK
The heartbeat getting quicker affecting how quick the timer gets is such a fire idea
