Quite devilishly hard if I do say so, but in a good way, in a challenging way that makes me want to try harder. I'll def be playing this more later to finish it

Lovely platformer, really fun and enjoyable to control. There is jank with some of the mechanics but nothing difficult to polish, and ultimately just makes the experience slightly harder.I actually loved it and bonus points for cooking this hard as a first game project.

A very impressive first game from a first time dev, super proud of you! Keep making games!

It was VERY fun :)

The art and music work really well! The player controller felt a little floaty though. I wish I was better at "the floor is lava" games. XD

I love dune's character design! Thanks for the really fun game for me to play on stream!! :D

Cool platformer, and a successful dash is very satisfying! I kind of found the movement a little too floaty myself, a=to the point where it felt a bit sluggish, which I don't think you really want in an escape the lava type game. But overall it was quite fun! (I also managed to clip myself into a block once and get stuck, which was kinda funny)

amazing shmoovement

Nice art and really interesting that you have different ways to climb up, but it's really hard when you die of 3 attempt and when you trapped by bombs it's really too long.

Really fun game I loved it ! I wasn't able to make it to the end though I made it pretty far. The sand rising concept is really unique and the mechanics were so smooth gave me serious hollow knight vibes.

Didn't make it to the end, sadly , I kept getting stuck on the sand platform. The player movement is quite dynamic and the overall sense of speed is great. IMO adding some checkpoints with reasonable sand height would encourage players to keep trying to finish the game , currently is very hardcore for me. But overall it's still a fun game  to play.

Really cool concept! I think the character movements needs some adjusting, for me personally it felt a little heavy/slow when on the platforms and little too light when midair. Love the set design and how the sand rises, had fun playing :)

The character artwork is amazing. The character movement feels floaty at times and would benefit from some coyote time. The idea is very creative. Great submission to the jam!!!

The character design and art are great. I feel like the platforming mechanics feel a bit clunky, but I managed to make it a long way up the tower. Great job with the game!

Seems there's no cayotee jump, and a dash on mouse is weird, wasd controls are fine, but Mav isn't used to them, shift would have made more sense for the dash. With some cayotee time, this would have been a lot of fun, but cool concept regardless ^^

There was originally coyote time, but it was causing bugs, so I had to remove it.
Also dash is on M1 cause its also the attack button.

I couldn’t stop laughing at the character’s tiny legs. 😂 The dash feels amazing, and the sand chasing you the entire time creates so much pressure in the best way. Really fun game—great job!
