Quick, short and to the point, and it seems our vampires had the same travel plans :) Similar theme direction, totally different mechanics, which made it a lot of fun to compare.

I’ll admit the first group of enemies had me stuck until I figured out I could attack, and then finding the sprint / roll opened the whole game up. Once I caught on I liked that it explains a little and then just drops you in, no hand holding, you’ll figure it out. Finished it on my third try.

Was the drop-you-in approach the plan from the start, or did a longer tutorial get cut for time? Either way it worked on me.

We just ran out of time. I wanted to have better level layouts, a bit more progression, and you unlock the roll/dodge thing after completing the first few levels. So... kinda? We liked the drop in thing with the intro script, but it needed a fair bit more polish.
