Really good story telling. I feel bad for Dan, and I was motivated to help him out. I got him 3 hearts and it felt good! Poor guy needs to get it together, lol. I also really enjoyed the calm soundtrack, it really fit the theme nicely.
Totally polished, nice, short and sweet storytelling! This is a really focused effort and that comes through in the writing, art, and music. It was easy and heartwarming to play :)
Such a cute game! I was able to get 3 hearts and it felt very heartwarming! Well done!
This is really cute and well made. I loved it.
This was a very fun and unique game I had much fun!
Very creative and unique approach to the theme. Nice art too. Well done!
Cute little game! I may have been a fool on my first run through and only got one heart, but fix things up on the second one. Surprised how much personality was able to be packed into Dan, Emma may have not appreciated the all-you-can-eat shrimp, but he's a man of good taste.
emma also loves the clown suit....and lollipops......trust me?????? shrimps, clowns and lollipops are irresistible......
Lovely art and story. I don’t know why it feels so sad to me that doing nothing isn’t even the worse ending… Anyway ! Loved all the little jokes around the house and petting the dog !
Thanks for playing!
we definitely wanted to do more endings, like one where she doesn't show up at all for doing nothing, but time constraints defeated us!
Glad you liked the art and story, and all the little jokes :)
Great stuff!! The art is good; the pacing is really great. Many narrative games are a bit slow. But this one isn't which is great
Great game!! The art is the best I’ve seen in this game jam! Great job!
I appreciated that the clues to do the "perfect" run were straightforward to find and I had a lot of fun going back and replaying to see what intentionally picking various configurations of the "wrong" things did!
Nice game, only real feedback is that it was weird switching from LMB to Space to advance dialog during the date.
I was tempted to go back and try picking the clown suit, but then I felt too bad for Dan...
if you pick all the silly options, there's a little easter egg >:)
oh well if the developer tells me to do it it must be fine
...what do you mean he still has his dignity he's wearing a clown suit
I really see the idea behind this and its implemented very well i liked how i should pay attention to every detail like for example the trip to paris where she liked italian food so that pushed me to go dinner in an italian restaurant very well thought concept well done.
I think I did better with the anniversary IRL than in this game 😅
I really like that you made the character move fast relative to the level size!
Even though it’s a narrative game, it didn’t feel prolonged because all the elements were close together.
As for the story - it fits the theme very well!
Well done!
Impressive Game
This is so cute! The art is AMAZING, really well done!
Beautiful game with nice story telling and art. Congratulations on making such a lovely game!
The art is really nice. I also like the idea, and it runs very well, which is quite impressive for two days! I'm not that sure whether this is the way to save a relationship, but anyways, thanks for this little story :)
The pixel art is great! I love the theme and the story, its a cute little experience.
just impressive.
Cute one. Interesting and simple to understand!
