How does your game fit the theme?
The blob has short lifespan, but it needs to solve puzzles, so it must upgrade it's lifespan and speed to get through it all.

Yo blob deserves to live guys, better get him that cake

Submitted

Funny game! However, the character moves really slowly, and the background music is quite loud and repetitive.

Is it so wrong to wish to live, I cant believe other blobs would try to stop him. I hope blob gets to enjoy that cake!~

Very flashgame like art style which looks very cool! Fun 'puzzle' gameplay overall!

Well done! :)

i did feel really slow when i started out, but i understood the premise of the game. i like the challenge!

Very well done, the core gameplay loop was fun, but like what others said, the speed you start with felt really sluggish even if it was the point to start out slow, but an overall great game!

I love the art style and the loop is fun but ngl I did get stuck once I reached 20 seconds but probably a skill issue

What an awesome idea! I really loved the pacing of the core loop here. I get why people are saying it felt a little too slow to them in the beginning but I personally felt fine with the speed. I'd love to see different kinds of upgrades but I'm sure you had your hands full. Great job!

I think I had most of my "unnessecary" deahts in the first room. After that it felt pretty tight and perfectly timed, even tho, like many others have said, I think the blob is almost painfully slow in the beginning. I think the game would probably feel almost perfect at like 1.5x speed.

After it got going a bit it felt great! Good job!

Whooo beat it! Really great concept. Ngl at first I thought about quitting because it was so, so slow. But I really liked the early door you make clearly visible that you can't reach in the beginning of the game. Made me think I'd have a way to speed up before you even introduce the speed pills. Very much enjoyed it!

Now behold the world's fastest Blob with only 10 deaths

Interesting puzzle game that had me hooked until the end despite my gripes. The blob is frustratingly slow until you get quite a few speed pills, the ending section felt like it could've been shorter (maybe a lifespan-reducing gate so the walks aren't so long?), and I thought the last bit with the three doors was trolling me and that I'd have to go through it three times to get all the speed pills (thankfully it was just once)!

I like this little green creature. Watching it squirm is oddly satisfying, like returning to a primitive form of life.

The time-control mechanic is clever, and the art and music create a very cozy atmosphere.

The crawling speed at the start feels a bit too slow. Maybe getting the speed-up pill earlier would make the experience better?

I will say it has a learning curve, the game became a lot more enjoyable after I got out of the room and got my first speed pills.  I can see people checking out early because the door lock is kinda confusing and caused a lot of deaths. I was disappointed the same mechanic wasn't used later in the game after I figured out how to solve it.
