How does your game fit the theme?
This game follows the theme as each action you do in the day takes a bit of time (and you only have a limited amount until night falls). Additionally at night you get to see the day that characters are scheduled to perish. As the days pass more and more people will vanish.

A very ambitious game! I wish there was some way to easily tell what each character's schedule was, so you would know when to go to each location. There were also some UI bugs, like I think I pressed space too early for the opening narration and it was stuck hovering over my screen, and the fact that you can travel while in the middle of a conversation.

Such an interesting and ambitious entry! I experienced some bugs, such as dialogue options not triggering after I clicked them, and the fact that traveling takes time even though you don't know who is where and there's no guarantee you'll even run into anyone seems a tad unfair. I'm going to have to revisit this one and see if I can solve it!

Really cool start and agree that the transitions were really good.  I like how the ink looks as well!  I liked the narrative as well this was a well thought out entry and great execution!  I unfortunately ran into a softlock where the dialog never disappeared and I was unable to continue but I still had a great time!

First off, I was already blown away from the start because of how smooth the transitions were! I love a murder mystery so it was a very pleasant surprise to find one in this jam :)) I love the lil guys wobbling around too!! I ran into a bug where I got stuck in dialogue with the Chief, but other than that it was pretty fun to play :) Looking forward to the next version!

Ooh, ambitious to plot out a whole murder mystery during the jam! I like the idea of investigating through dialogue, though I wish these ones progressed a bit quicker. I also noticed the click targets on the dialogue options were a smidge off. Maybe keyboard shortcuts correlated to the numbers could help? Also, it would be great if convos automatically closed if you use the map to go to a different location, rather than staying open once you're far away from the person you were talking to.

But seriously, mad props for taking this on!

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the awesome feedback! I'm currently working on a new version to publish soon which adds a fancy new notebook that you can use to figure things out, bug fixes for the dialogue system, changes for a few dialogue pieces to make things more clear, and random fixes/QOL improvements! Hopefully with all that, you'll be able to enjoy the game as it was fully intended!

I'll probably publish it before the jam ends, but don't use it as the version to rate the game, use the current jam version.

You did a really good job of building atmosphere, and the sound effects are great. Please fix all the issues after the jam so I can play it properly...

Super ambitious project. It's really cool to see that you were able to have a mystery with that many characters and dialogue options in such a short time span

I encountered a bug that prevented progress :( (a dialogue box was permanently displayed on the screen with no way to remove it)

Otherwise it's an interesting concept, the animations and SFX are gorgeous, and the visuals is simple yet effective, well done !

very well done. i love murder mystery story with the BotCT day night cycle. Unfortunately i kept getting stuck in the dialogue but i would love to play it if it gets fixed post jam

Interesting concept, seems very similar to Mindcop!

Unfortunately my dialogue window got stuck after going to the church and talking to the Mystic and I couldn't progress further D:

This game drew me in, unfortunately I couldn't finish it but the concept is executed well. I like the mechanic of reading people's fates, it gives a good sense of urgency when you find out someone is going to die soon.

Cool game, I liked the narrative and dialogs, especially with the VFX and the cards ^^ I did however run into some issues where it told me that e.g. the Mystic had already died and I was able to talk to him the next day, or that the fisherman had 1 day to live, but walked around for another 2 days before I banished them thinking a mimic replaced them haha! I also saw a couple other bugs like UIs overlapping, being able to talk to people during the night, etc. And I struggled with figuring out the story and where to go. Overall a decent game with a lot of story - good job!

I think I'm too stupid for this game but I liked it as far as I got into it. Some dialogue does break the game which is unfortunate cause I have to restart after that - but other than that I liked it!

Great game, and really ambitious. I only had time for one day, nonetheless I had plenty of fun, and even found someone who's evil. But I do feel like there are so many facts to keep in mind, it would be nice if there was some place at least most important ones would be recorded
