It's a solid, polished and well-balanced game. I like the art style too.

The strongest entry I've seen for this jam so far! I love the art style, the music, the gameplay, everything! Amazing work.

I really liked how polished this game is, and I have to admit I am jealous, lol. This is a nice, simple, and addictive game and I like how much content there is despite only having four days. Awesome game and good luck!

Wooww, not my type of game, but yeah i got so much into it, frankly it's like a professionnal game i'm kinda jealous how you did that in 4 days

Really nice vibe overall. The only thing that felt a bit off is that the characters and carts look much more cute/pixel-like compared to the darker atmosphere, cutscenes, music, and the "Perished" screen. The style clash is noticeable, but I still enjoyed the experience.

I think idea is basic but your implementation is great!

game feel is nice!

Really vibey. Almost feels like a nitpick that the characters, carts and stuff like that don't seem to match the cutscenes and overall vibe. Them pixels are too cute next to the act progression, music and "Perished" screen.

Really-sick looking ambient clever little rogue-like with fun recourse management elements and overall a game that sounds just AMAZING. I was also instantly intrigued when looking at it, the simplistic artwork is really peak, and exactly my cup of tea :)

I'll start with things that didn't click that much for me though:

- Although the mechanic is already a pretty straightforward take on the theme in my opinion, I still felt like there was a better way to mix it in with the rest of the game. I was unsure how I feel about constantly having to manage both my health and turns left, without them being correlated in any way other than by a few upgrades that can change that. Perhaps simply damaging the player by 1 point each turn they're exceeding their turn limit would have felt better? Would have added to the game's simplicity as well IMO. And if you were to keep it as it is, I feel like those 5 points you get before dying after you're out of turns should have definitely been reset upon reaching the door. I had a run where I had made it to the door, selected an upgrade, only to die right after one move once the stage has loaded lol.

- I didn't realize that you don't have to kill enemies to proceed to the next stage right-away, and although that is a fine design decision, I think at least having the player get to a randomly placed key on the stage would have made it more exciting and work nicely along having to manage your turns

- Wish you could see which floor you got to once dead!

The good things:

- Love love love how the game looks. Just the right amount of juice, crunchy effects, clear telegraphing and memorable upgrade icons

- Awesome upgrade ideas, aside from possibly slightly better balancing in some places, no notes there. Fun weapons as well!

- The entire game feels like you're on a diet. Everything is just running out! You have to be super strategic

- Music simply fits perfectly, like glue tying it all together. Alongside subtle sounds that convey power when needed, like I said, the game sounds AMAZING

- Lots of enemies and distinct mechanics for a game jam game. The attacks actually felt unique and made sense.

Overall It's an incredible jam entry, where a lot of was achieved in such a short amount of time. I know it's always tricky making those type of turn-based games and limiting player's turns isn't an easy task either. In-summary, I'll say that this game has a 10/10 presentation and like a 7/10 design. And certainly a ton of potential, well done team!!! (although i'm obv a very very big fan of your works, i tried to provide some helpful thoughts where I could and stay objective haha)
