Bob is cool. The little narrative going on between levels is a nice addition that gives Bob development. The main mechanic of a limited number of actions (jumping, teleporting, etc) that the player can make before they die fits the jams theme very well while also creating a unique puzzle element to a platformer.

However, the graphics are in dire need for improvement as the game can look dull and some key information isn't obvious, like the UI displaying the amount of actions left without any indication on what those actions are, which ends up being an issue in the later levels. Adding more sound effects as well as some music would go a long way to improving the game's atmosphere. There's also some gameplay issues, such as Bob getting stuck on walls, making wall jumps more cumbersome. The teleport mechanic doesn't show where Bob ends up, resulting in unncessary deaths. Finally, it would be better if there was no sprint toggle and instead, Bob simply always moved at the sprint speed.

At least you tried, keep practising!

Is there any reason that the sprint toggle exists? I only used sprint all the time.

Your primary keys are WASD, Shift and Space. Why use enter for switching levels if Space would have done the job just fine.

Wall jumps only work on right walls for some reason.

There is a bug when I press esc for pause, and resume, then the countdown stops counting down your jumps, and the things that should be black in darkness are all clearly visible.

The switch between counting down jumps and counting down teleports could have been made more clear by changing the design of the countdown.

Also, Pressing R for quick restart would have been nice.

That said, you do have fitting sound effects, and the art works for the game. The movement is generally fine, though wall jumping needs some work, and I don't like that sprint defaults to off.

For future projects, you can also get those 8bit kind of sounds from tools like BFXR/JFXR/jsfxr. The menus look nice

This game was pretty unique and a cool interpretation of the theme!

jumps become too limited very quickly

I liked that this game didn't use a literal countdown for the jam theme, a more creative, nontraditional take stood out compared to other entries. The wall jumping was tricky to get at first, but once it clicked, navigation felt much smoother. The difficulty curve felt well balanced, it took a few tries to get past the first level, but that struggle made clearing it more satisfying than if it had been too easy.

The second level's design was unique, going for a blinded-out visual approach, but it was noticeably more unforgiving than the first. It's an interesting mechanic, though I wasn't able to spend enough time to figure out how to get past it.
