Pretty entertaining but tough game also! It would’ve been nice to have more ways to circumvent the guards, or slightly more refined AI since they can sometimes be seen running into walls which is kind of lame. I also didn’t know there was a coin UI until I read another comment further below. Overall, a great entry.
Fun game! I love any stealth game that lets you distract guards by throwing coins.
I think some kind of fast-forward feature may have been nice for when the player’s already got it so that backup will arrived before the bomb goes off. Otherwise one just has to wait around twiddling one’s thumbs until backup arrives. Though I did learn the hard way that guards can realize you’re hiding in a locker or vent, so I guess you do gotta stay on the move. (At least I think that’s how it is. Since I went to do something when hiding and waiting for backup, and when I returned I’d been busted.)
Besides the waiting, the game plays well and it was fun finessing the guards with coins and ladders. Great work!
YUP!! you went that far huh!
thank you, yes will do a post jam balancing and design changes as per the feedback.
Thanks for playing.
I think you got a great idea! The game is already fun right now, but if you want some thoughts about it I can give an idea I had. I went to floor 5, so I don't know if I've missed things, but right now the double counter feels under-used. If there's one minute between both counters, then it means you have to keep the power off for one minute, and that's it. But there could be events that increase the backup timer, like the enemies sending troops to slow the backup, and maybe you can somehow hack their communication when they try to send these troops so it will cancel the backup slowdown.
I understand it's a jam and time was limited (and I don't know if that idea can be good), I just wanted to give you a thought. Good job for the game, it's cool!
Hey Franc, yeeah we will look into it, will work something out post release.
thank you
love this game. this is a great game the only bad thing i can say about this is that you should make the coin ui a little bit bigger because I didn't notice it until my 5th attempt. but this is just me being picky.
Great idea for a game, the base gameplay is fun and this is already good enough to be called a full experience without much polish, which in four days, is amazing. I had some visual glitches with the ladders a few times and i think sometimes the game would need me to hit an input multiple times before it was registered, but those should be easy fixes and outside of that all i can say is that some layouts were a bit too easy while others were almost impossible to touch the generators without the coins, but this is seriously a great game even outside of the context of a jam.
Cool idea! I just wish the levels were bigger so there are more places to hide or to lead the guards to.
Noted! will surely compile all the feedbacks after jam and balance out the game!
thank you!
Really fun little game, The gameplay is simple to understand but keeps you thinking. Loving the clean design and simple controls, looking forward to seeing more updates to this.
Really fun! I love stealth games, this is a cool sort of more arcadey take on it.
Nice concept, you don't see 2D stealth games very often. I like the vibe and the dialogue was pretty funny. I would say though that it's too easy to escape the guards since the stairs are often just far enough from the terminals that their flashlights don't reach you, and that adding floors doesn't make the level any harder than the previous one.
I enjoyed your game! Had a lot of fun finding ways to sneak around. the big highlight for me was going up and down on the ladders to avoid the guards flashlights. The little bits of dialog added a lot to the atmosphere. Only thing I would say is to make the game more interesting when you have more time on the bomb then the backup, since for now you can just hop in a vent and stay there. (perhaps a key to speed up time) Congrats on submitting!
Simple to understand and quite fun. The overall vibe with the audio and visuals is pretty well done.
Great game! I think that when you already know you are going to win (Back up countdown is shorter than bombs countdown) the game should move to next level, so you don't have to wait hidden.
what a clean looking game! i was not very good at this and didnt get very far at all xD but the player character controlled well and was very enjoyable. kudos!!
The smooth pixel animations look amazing, and the gameplay is super fun. Plus, the dialogue is funny. Lol.

I really loved this game. The core loop is very strong and the dual countdown idea is such a clever take on the theme. Both timers sit in fixed corners and are always visible so we would never lose track of the main objective. The first screen upfront showed us the goal and every control at one glance. Audio supports the mood well and sort of builds tension. The torchlight mechanic made me realise where the danger could be coming from. Great job!
Really smart twist on a known genre! Art and music fit the vibe you were going for very well and generally felt very polished. Good game!
Nice! Hard game but fun and intuitive!
ngl its hard but still good game!
Great concept for the game but i would expect an easier to understand tutorial ngl.
Got that will adjust the balancing after the jam is over.
Thanks for the feedback.
