How does your game fit the theme?
The whole game is a countdown inside a countdown! You're racing to freedom before the cops catch you - and every single gate you crack is its own shrinking countdown, where waiting longer pays more but risks losing the very time you're trying to save

Best compliment I can give is that I would play this game outside of a jam, it's so much fun!!

Yeah this game rules. Couldn't figure out how to use my active item though!

Very enjoyable! Should definitely add additional special events with the selectable areas themselves and I think there is an amazing game going with this, loved!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, simple and fun. This can definately be a mobile game that I would like to play as a passtime

Great ratio of gambling to skill, lots of fun, I take too many risks and die every time TTTwTTT

Great game. Although I wish it also rewarded speedines instead of accuracy. Then combos could go crazy fast

Wow this is incredible. I don’t have much to say other than this is an incredibly fun use of the theme. Great work here.

Very fun one-button game, I love that a lot of the challenge is caused by your own choice to risk it and let the spinner loop around another time to get more points.

There's also an impressive amount of juice and polish in this game for such a short jam - and looks like you guys submitted a whole day in advance! Nice work!!

thank you!! <3

Absolutely loved this take on the mechanic (coming as a DbD player) - I think a future update could use a setting where you speed up time when clicking RMB just because it can be a little boring sometimes waiting for the arrow to complete two full rotations and hit the zone when it's at its max value, but other than that everything works great :D

Mmmm love it! We found it hard to balance the dopamine of going really fast and the dopamine of  hitting a really accurately, well timed moment. It results in neither play style feeling optimally enjoyable! Thanks for the feedback.

Super creative use of the theme and a great gameplay loop. Nice stuff!

Yo i'd pay for this to play on my phone dude. Roguelikes is definitely a genre that's a bit oversaturated, it's mostly just someone or something going through a dungeon, getting items and killing monsters. But then there's these roguelikes that's weirder than the rest of them like peglin for example, and this game too! Which is such an important factor to make your game stand out in a genre where there's a lot of heavy hitters. Great job in making this game, one tiny nitpick that I have is that the sfx can be improved a whole lot more, but other than that it's a fantastic game.

I would love to hear more about how you would improve the sfx? It’s one of my weaker sides. Thanks for playing!

I'm not really an expert on sound design, but I mostly get my resources from freesound.org. I pick a few (usually 3 or less) sounds that I think would sound good together. Say you wanna make a punch sfx, it can be formed by combining a "woosh" sound, a "thump" sound, and maybe a "crack" sound. Combine them all in a software of your choice (mine's audacity), add some effects like adjusting the pitch, adding reverb or echo, speeding it up/slowing it down. I try to find/make sounds that's exaggerated, something that feels too much is usually something that feels enough. It's one of those things where you just need to experiment and try out for yourself tbh.

Doesn't even feel like a Jam game, put this on mobile for $5 dollars now please. Genuinely cream of the crop!

The game design is phenomenal. Everything in this game just fits nicely into this one package. No feature felt forced, but more like a natural extension to the idea itself. This is the definition of perfect execution. It's beautiful how much fun I had with such a simple idea.
