How does your game fit the theme?
You play as The Count, and you must descend through the dungeon

Fun game, the systems feel well made!
Very fun, cool theme use!
Thanks!
cool pixel art! nice use of the concept, great job!
Really cool pixel art! Great work.
Thanks you for playing!
The dark dungeon vibe fits the vampire concept perfectly, and transforming into a bat to dodge hunters while also being able to attack them feels awesome. I did run into a few moments where hitboxes felt slightly off and I died mid-air without touching anything, but minor quirks aside, it's still a really well crafted and enjoyable entry.
ah, game jam spaghetti code strikes again. Glad you still liked it!
Interesting game! I'm always a fan of big lists of stats.
Thanks! initially I had even more stats, but I decided to get rid of some of them because it was a bit ridiculous :P
interesting game, for some reason platformers are rare among roguelikes,
i think this game is technically a roguelike not a roguelite.
is the player teleporting a few pixels when turning around intended
There's a spectrum of "roguelike" to "-lite" and everyone has a different idea of what counts as a roguelike lol. For me, a roguelike is a turn-based game on a tile (usually ascii) grid, like the original rogue. But it's a matter of opinion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The player isn't really teleporting, it's just that when you turn around, you also move a bit, because you are pressing the movement key.
Thanks for playing!
I enjoyed it!
Thanks!
I enjoyed it!
Fun game! I like how it feels like a flash game. A bit confusing at first but I enjoyed it when I understood it.
Glad you had fun!
Pretty cool idea! I thought for a moment chests were not working cause my hp and mp were not recovering, but then I saw I had to actively use orbs on the top right, that could either be more clearly pointed out in game, or auto healing on opening chest. Either way, pretty fun game, good job.
Yeah, I probably should have made them more obvious... Thanks for the feedback!
I like how the count has to go down. I like the movement of the count, it feels very smooth and the roguelike elements are super fun. Next time tho make sure to add some music
Unfortunately I ran out of time, so the Count must eliminate his enemies in silence. 😞
Looks cool! Controls are tight and I like the premise. It's fun to keep playing. Looks like we both thought of a Count as the main character :-)
I'm someone who adores platformers, and this one is no different! Great Job!
Glad you liked it! :)
This is incredibly well done. Great work to everyone involved
Thanks for playing!
Pretty neat rogue like game, it was fun to carefully descent down the floors and the upgrades and powers were a really cool and fun too.
Thanks! I wanted to encourage carefully descending rather than running and gunning, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I like the style, the pixel art and sound is really good. +70% damage op :D
the Count never skips Hex Day at the gym. Thanks for playing!
