This is pretty cool, i like the typing mechanic !
Such a creative idea! Took me a second to understand I had to type in each street name along the route, but once I got it the whole game flowed nicely. Typing can be such a satisfying mechanic! I'd like to see what this game can turn into with more time.
Thank you for playing!
Just wanted to say this is the only game in the jam I came back to play more of. The pressure of typing accurately while keeping an eye on the map and mentally planning out where to send vehicles next - it all works so well together! I really hope you develop this into a full game, you can be sure of my wishlist!
Quite a great game honestly, Struggled a bit as I am a slow typer but man does it feel good to chain and connect the different streets together. Amazing work on the asset and voiceover and great job overall!
thanks!
It starts of easygoing on ROOKIE, but gets a lot more demanding on NORMAL and becomes especially brutal/unforgiving on HARD. The street name and layout randomization makes each playthrough unique (so plus points on having lots of replayability), and the accompanying visuals/SFX (I really like how all the Units have their own "copy that" voice lines, especially the female voice for the Medic Unit) really makes the player feel like they're an emergency dispatcher.
Similar criticism like some of the other commenters in that the Units and emergency sites sometimes end up blocking the street names, which can be critical during NORMAL and HARD boards due to forcing players to memorize street names beforehand or taking longer routes along more "visible" streets. You should also change the pause button to be something other than "ESC", since it keeps tabbing out in itch.io (and temporarily makes keyboard interactions stop working).
I genuinely want to see a full version of this game since there's a lot of potential for added/expanded mechanics such as:
Update: Just beat HARD at 5/6 LOST. It was brutal, but managing to chain several streets together feels very rewarding.
Thank you very much for this detailed feedback. I have noted all the points.
very cool idea!
thanks!
Very cool idea for a game. I definitely felt the pressure of time. I think the sound and visuals all worked really well together.
One nitpick I have is that I must stop every time I pass an incident, even if one beyond that intersection has less time before it expires. Adding another command might make things too complicated, so I'm not sure how to fix that issue that I have.
Great work! Awesome entry.
Thank you!
this is such an interesting concept! quite stressful but that’s part of the appeal for a game like this. the audio design is really good, and the typing mechanic is really well designed!

Wow, that's an awesome game! This mechanic feels amazing, and the overall art is so good. It's one of my favorites in this jam so far. I would definitely buy this game on release! Very good job!
By the way, if you have some free time, I'd love for you to playtest my game as well and let me know what you think!
Thank you for feedback. If you upload a Mac or web build in the future, I will test your game. But I currently do not have a device for it. Sorry.
That's totally fine, I'm sorry for the inconvenience! The jam's time pressure made me completely forget about the Mac version, and I did try to upload a web version, but it unfortunately didn't work. Thanks for the interest anyway, I really appreciate it!
Very enjoyable experience! Good sound effects and feedback for every key pressed. I like the take on the theme!
Thanks!
Very cool game. I really liked trying to plan everyone out. One simple thing though was I couldn't see the words sometimes so I was kinda stuck because the card or name was over the word. Still cool and very interesting.
thank you
Really solid game! I played it on stream and struggled to understand if I was doing the right thing but got a good sense for the quality of the game. Came back with a few less eyes on me and figured out once the vehicles were at the locations that they were processing the task, maybe that progress could be shown a bit clearer and I think I missed where the roads going red was mentioned. Other than that, really enjoyed the game and its presentation, sound and art worked really well together and making such a unique typing game during a jam is no easy task. Good work!

I really enjoyed this. I feel like this could be more than just a game jam game. By far one of my favorites of the jam.
This was an interesting game. It's a great concept for a typing game. It gets pretty intense near the end, and you really have to strategize on top of typing quickly. I thought that everything felt really polished and the gameplay felt satisfying.
One issue I had, though, was that sometimes I couldn't read the names of streets because the vehicles or text were partially obscuring them, making me have to guess, which cost me valuable time. Maybe you could find a way to make the street names next to the active unit more prominent? Maybe make them appear on top of everything else somehow?
This is a great little typing game. You just need to come up with a way to mix up the words so you're not typing the same thing over and over, but it's got a great core and a really unique premise that I really enjoyed!
Played at 4:14:00 @ https://twitch.tv/hedge_in <3 This was such an interesting typing game!! Good work!
I need to learn to type faster, but nothing to critique really, but if you do an accesibility pass maybe find a way to make the letters more prominent for player with outdated glasses in need of a new presctiption.
One of my favorites of the jam, not many if at all like this in the jam, I will be playing more of it after, I hope yall intend for a full polished release, I am there day one!
Thanks for playing and feedback!
A typing game that works this well is a rare gem, very good one :D
