That first playthrough with lags was painful but second was way better. Fun little game, stupid cat. Quite a lot of empty space but pretty good for a 3D game. Nice work!
The first launch was rough; the mouse cursor wouldn't disappear, making controls impossible.
A restart (second launch) fixed the issue. Anyway, the game is wonderful. What else do you need to survive a tornado? Beer, pizza, and good company.
Great concept. It's a good game.
P.S. The issue with the cursor on the first launch needs to be sorted out.
Pretty good game idea. It just needs a little more polish.
You apologize to Toby right now for calling him stupid! >:(
This was a cool game. The siren noise and frantic searching for the important things (beer and pizza) gave a hopeless feeling. Toby was a nice curveball with having to find him twice.
I think the messages explaining where Toby is should stay on screen a little bit longer, it took me a couple tries before I noticed they were there in time.
The first time I launched the game, my cursor wasn't getting locked in the window, so I couldn't turn properly. I wasn't able to reproduce it, and it fixed itself on my second run, so I don't know if that's something you could even fix.
I was eventually able to find everything on my list and escape the storm! Even the fuzz pizza was spared. Well done on this one!
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback.
I'll make sure Toby gets extra treats o7
Couldn't find the cat unfortunately :_(
Trying to get everything in 1 min is fun tho
Intreresting game, the audio fits perfect, but i think house is really empty but thats ok
Thanks! Ran out of time and had to start cutting some things, unfortunately.
3D games always impress me. The lighting and the sfx are amazing for one. Damn it Toby, it took me like 8 tries to just find the damn cat. I thought it'd be impossible to get everything in 1 minute but I managed to do it with 10 seconds to spare, so I'm pretty proud. The map design is really good, and I'm glad I could see the tornado appear. It would have been funny to fly away in the wind, but that might have been too costly...
The game itself was pretty laggy sadly, it would spike every now and then, and it took quite a while to load. I don't think Firefox is the way but even chrome had to take a hit or two. I am grateful for the accessibility settings, it's really well made. And when opening the closet, sometimes the hitboxes would overlap so I would close the door instead of grabbing the beer, which was a tiny bit annoying.
Overall, for the jam, great work!
Thank you! It was my first proper 3D game and had heaps of fun with atmospheric vibes, may have gone a little overboard on costly things haha
