Yay
Really creative Idea, I also like the art, I really like picking up items and throwing them back at the monsters.
Love the pixel art style. There were several unexpected moments that had me laughing out loud. Great job!
really solid! Throwing stuff at monsters was super satisfying
Wondefull art! Really nice job for a 4 day jam!
Had fun with this one, but only managed to snag 11/18 events. Great take on the theme!
great idea altogether! i wish the game was a bit faster to feel more chaotic, and maybe the character could dash or something. the events were funny and the adaptive music was fantastic :)
Great game! PLayed on stream :) damn baby woke up
The elements of the game makes it fun to play but still simple and easy to understand, Although it can get hard, it definitely has all the elements a good game should have, and the game feels polished and well made. I do wish the player could move just a bit faster (although maybe it could damage the balancing) and I also wish you could throw things over the crib.
I love this idea. And the implementation is really great.
The game was pretty difficult for me, but it could be a skill issue. Actually, I like it so much, I think I will return to it later. Thanks for sharing!
Yay thanks for playing! If you do ever play again, a really cool strategy is chaining monster kills with the items they drop and throwing them. Since monsters always drop 1-2 items, you can kill a bunch in a row super fast by instantly using the next item they drop all in a row.
this was a really fun one, probably the most cohesively put together game i’ve played in the jam, kudos to you for making it in 4 days!
I love the concept and cohesiveness. You captured the feeling of anxiety I tried to create in my game haha. Great job!!
Once the rating period for the jam ends, we will release a patch to help players reach the end (its supposed to be a story game after all).
Enjoyed this one. Creative idea, well executed. Couldn't get to the end, but I played it multiple times.
This one gets tense quite fast. Couldn't get past 4/18, the enemies who shoot projectiles destroyed my run.
I felt like there could be a bit more of audio cues, some events seemed to depend exclusively of the text box. The music is alright, but could be a bit more tense to showcase the chaos that ensues as the baby sleeps.
Visually, it looks pretty good, though it was hard to figure out what some of the items were. The effect of soothing the baby was amazing, well done!
The gameplay is quite effective, I wish the character moved just a tad faster, it gets frustrating at times. Throwing items felt a bit off sometimes. But I liked that I didn't need to keep on clicking to attack, just holding the mouse button worked fine. For some reason the game freezes at the beginning, when approaching the crib, maybe loading something.
All in all, this was a tense and fun base defense game!
I was only able to beat 9/18 events but this game was fun. Also for some reason the main character felt like a south park character and it made me laugh. Well done!
