Love an open world like this, saw an entity move by r e a l quick! Cool game!
It's a little bit slow to start but it's a fun concept!
Pretty chill game about collecting logs for a campfire! Occasionally I would hear this buzzing in the background, never did figure out what that was about :P I’d love to see this expanded upon with maybe more campfires and entities.
Nice game. It really conveys a tense and spooky atmophere. Although getting logs becomes too difficult to the point that it's better to stay close to the campfire rather than looking futher for more logs
This reminds me of the game Don't Starve. Nice game though, you did a good job with the spooky atmosphere 👍
I like the wordplay of the Hides and Seeks, very fitting names! A good challenge, too, trying to explore as quickly as possible without running into too many Hides, avoiding the Seek, and trying to remember where your campfire is. I got too greedy and couldn't remember my way back to the fire, so I kept ping-ponging back and forth between the edges of the area like a DVD logo while my fire burned down, making it even more difficult to find. Quite tense!
Great Atmosphere! for a very simple narrative this delivers a great experience without being too short and repetitive. Great work!
I liked how spooky it felt! The audio of the seek(?) and the darkness closing in on you was actually pretty scary, especially cause I got lost often. Having to remember your way back and being forced to venture out once you run out of wood around your campfire create a fun tension. I also really liked the wolf guys (Hides?) hiding behind the trees. They were somehow both cute and spooky at the same time.
For points of feedback, the appearance (or lack thereof) of the seek felt a little arbitrary to me. I wasn't quite sure when a Hide would or wouldn't bring a seek.
Overall, nice job! This was fun!
I think the art style and atmosphere is done really well. I think it could be balanced a little better for more replay-ability. The seek not being visible made it hard for me to do anything except wait out the fire once I was seen by a hide, which felt a little too random.
I liked it! Especially the audio for the monster. It was very eerie and was successful in making me want to stay near the fire!
The art is well done, Maybe it was your choice but I would suggest adding an indicator to where the campfire is,
I got lost in forest with tons of wood in hand.
Small and simple game but the atmosphere really did genuinely stress me out (in a good way)
The seek being unseeable (I didn't get caught and I'm a little too scared to so idk if you can see it) and directional auditorialy (I don't even know if I just wrote a work) + static spooked me a good bit
I think adding some smaller polish details could make it even more spooky (The hides playing some sounds when you find them, etc.)
This is cool! Pace is a little slow for such a small game, but very cute.
