Wow! I was genuinely surprised by how deep this game is. I expected a simple jam entry, but the amount of interconnected systems and the evolving survivor dynamics were super deep. Really impressive scope for such a short development time!
Grazie per aver giocato <3
For your first game jam, congratulations! It's not easy to design and balance a game like this with such a limited amount of time.
I really enjoyed the music it added a lot to the atmosphere and immersion. Another feature I thought was very well designed (it could use a bit more polish, but it already works well!) is the daily journal and being able to go back and review the events from previous days.
Thanks for playing <3! And yeah I didn't have enough time for the journal sadly
Fun concept and a great first gamejam entry. Keep it up! (Although I think no one should entrust me with the task of running a bunker)
Thanks for playing <3
Really cool and creative game! It reminds me a lot of fallout shelter, the game is well balance and is pretty addictive. Very good job and congratulations!!
Thank you for playing <3
cool game! i got really hooked watching my recruit Brandon going from insulting everyone to being in a lovehate relationship with Sophie Cooper, alternating between getting his head smashed in and healed by her everyday
Hahhah, thanks for playing <3
Props for the concept! got me entertained for quite some time trying to beat my top score '114 day'>, would've liked to have a btn to fast forward the text generation and just navigate the pages with the arrow keys.
Liked the idea a lot ! keep it up :)
I didn't had time to finish the book sadly. Thanks for playing <3
The text wasn't particularly easy for me to read, but based on my gaming experience, I was able to understand the message the author was trying to convey. For a first-time entry in the JAM, I think it's really impressive. I've now played for over 100 days; the tutorial was a bit tedious, but the content covered was enough for me to fully understand the game. Great job—keep it up!
Thanks for playing <3
This felt like something I'd have played on the bus ride to school a decade ago! I only made it to day 109, but I had fun tracking the relationships on a piece of paper based on their actions. I like there was the obvious countdown when choosing survivors, but the whole game is also a countdown, waiting to see how long your community will survive. Cool game!
Thanks for playing <3
Cool concept, just a little too much reading for my preference but that's just my baby brain. Fun how a lot of systems interact with each other here. Would be cool if you could see the effects actually play out some way but that's a WHOLE can of worms that isn't feasible for this game jam. Nice work, I like the idea a lot!
Thanks for playing <3
Really interesting game. having to reach each possible recruit's backstory, while having the clock against you, makes desperation start to settle in under the fear of possibly not recruiting anyone
Thank you for playing my game <3!
Really cool game! Reached day 200. Medical strat OP. My only feedback is the text goes away too fast and i would suggest you write the controls in the description of the game (right click to deselect a recruit).
Thanks for the feedback and for playing my game! You should be able to go back with the pages once the text finished generating, I know its a bit buggy the book but I didnt have much time to work on it. DAY 200 DAMN!
This is a super cool concept! I wasn't really sure what I was in for. I like the having to choose the survivors, however I think I had a bug and once I clicked a survivor I couldn't unselect them, so I never found a good cook cause I just had to recruit the first ones I clicked lol.
would be nice if the text wrapped better so the bullet points of what was happening didn't get lost but I pieced the days together.
A cool idea that could be expanded further! Nice work
I think you missed a part in the tutorial, and fair enough it was boring and long. But if you right click you deselect the survivor. Yeah and I did the book at the last day so its a bit buggy. Thanks for playing <3!
That's a nice concept! I just found the tutorial and stats really extensive, it would be cool to see this complexity abstracted away with more UI visual elements. Also, in the pickup phase I was just picking anyone who wasn't a GameDev hehe didn't really feel the weight of other stats. Made it day 129!
Thanks for playing <3! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to add more UI elements, and there was a lot more I wanted to do. It was my first time making a game with such a short deadline. And yeah sadly I had to remove a lot of stats from the game, but every stat you see right now has a value, but they are not balanced, some stats are way superior to others.
And wow, making it to day 129 is amazing, but you'll never beat my record of 150 hehe.
What a cool idea! This is really ambitious, props for the tutorial alone! I love simulation games, so I was really mesmerised by everything that was happening, though I think I did really poorly because I kept picking people that attacked each other hahahaha. Got the hang of it after a while, though! I would love to play a full game that expands on this idea!
There was a lot of cut content and I had no time to focus on the artistic part of the game. But I'm still happy I managed to finish the game. Thanks for playing <3!
