How does your game fit the theme?
You count down the floors. You count down the wood tiles left (and thus available space and ammo). If you have skill issues, you will be counting down health.

found it on the review my game section of the discord honestly really worth the play and the gameplay is fun and easy to get used it just glows really nicely :)
I liked the movement and building combo, the levels were fun to go through, nice job !!
Short but such a fun concept. Having to manage building blocks that are also youre weapon is just great. This is a great foundation to build a bigger game on, so i hope you continue working on this!
Note: im not going outside to touch grass I will keep playing jam games
Finally finished the last stage, it's so simple yet the hammer takes so long doing its thing and I died almost a dozen times by trying to rush things.
The sound effects are fine, the song is good at the start but maybe it could get a bit more energetic towards the last levels.
Visually it works very well, the characters are cute.
Maybe there could be some sort of visual indicator for the range of the board throw because sometimes it stopped almost at the candle, but couldn't hit.
Well made game, I actually really like the animations and art style, works quite well together. Idea is quite creative, letting the player build their own path was cool, would of liked to have seen more levels!
Connection to the theme is a little weak (even like a floor number would of helped connect it a little better), but otherwise really good job!
Only bad thing that I can say about the game is that it is way too short.
It is a great idea with very good execution and has that systemic design element where taking the tile from under the hammer makes it drop down, then you need to actually let the hammer build a little so you have ammo, that is clever, that makes the player feel clever, because this is a truly clever game.
Kinda reminded me of an old GMTK game called " Pink river " lol.
That aside, I do like how this game incorporated combat as well. Needing to be careful of how I was aiming was also fun to manage, especially since my ammo was both limited and was also the floor that I stood on.
Really loved how you tutorialised the hammer enemy. Definitely made it as clear as possible how he worked and moving around him was definitely fun.
I don't really have any real critiques or qualms tbh. Everything about this was very solidly made and that last level was definitely a cool final test. Great work on this
Really creative concept! but a shame to see so little levels, artsyle is great and the music and sound design are pretty nice, really good and would love to see this expanded!
I was really having fun and whish there were more levels. But I know the time was short. We had the same “problem” with my game. It’s a really good game, i like the art and especially the character design, and the levels are designed very well. Good work!
Some really tight level design! I had a legitimate ah ha moment on the 3rd level with making the bridge. You really taught the mechanics well!
Nice idea and nice art. Though doesn't seem to fit the theme well. In our game we have descending floors too, but also we have a timer that is your health, currency and... a bomb.
Fun game, not having 100 levels was nice for once! Going to touch some grass now
(apart from more levels)
The mechanic is their, more variations could help.
Too short, I was having fun :(
Nicely done, the concept of building your own platform in a "platformer" game is quite original, and the visuals are really polished on top of it. Congrats !
Agree on all points, very well done but too short sadly, was eagerly awaiting more mechanics!
This is a really great entry! Great art? Check. Fun core gameplay mechanic? Check. Building off of the idea with other cool ideas? Check. I had a lot of fun with this one :) Awesome job!
Absolutely adore the artwork and visual "juice" in this! The way the knight hops around and the visual ghost-highlight grid effects for the wood planks is genuinely very charming.
Not a critique, but more a request, but it'd be awesome if you could stack wood planks on top of each other and rapid-fire place and/or throw them as needed. I think it'd make the gameplay a lot faster and smoother.
Great stuff!
Very cute! Unique gameplay as well. Great job putting this together :D
