This was one of the most original concepts I saw in the jam. I really liked the idea, and I think it was executed very well.

At first, I didn’t realize I had to keep interacting for longer to get classmates to give me the exam answers. A small visual indicator, such as a progress bar or a circle gradually filling up, would make that much clearer while keeping the clean UI you’ve designed.

After a few attempts, I managed to finish the game. I assume waking up in the bedroom is the good ending, since I believe I answered all three exam questions correctly.

My only real suggestion would be to slightly lower the movement sensitivity and make the interaction hitboxes a bit larger. The combination of those two things made some actions harder than they needed to be. We actually ran into a similar issue in our own game with the coins and the slot where they had to be inserted.

Other than that, I still think this is one of the most original entries in the jam.

Great job!

Thanks for the amazing, insightful review!

I agree with all the points. We should have found workarounds to make the interactions a bit simpler given the short amount of time to improve the UI, maybe just a click instead of a long-click could have worked well enough.

I'm really glad you liked it, we've put all the possible effort, it means a lot to us!
