A bit too buggy to experience comfortably, but I really like the idea of retaining knowledge of how things work while the loop resets in a puzzle game. Interesting mechanic, good work!
I think it's a wonder that there has not been more exit room games coming until now. Yours was the first. I think I liked the premise, but like others have said there was a few issues, but its just the nature of the jam that you sometimes dont have enough time to fix every issue. Atmosphere was immaculate though. Good job!
Sup! i really liked it! but... i clipped through the floor... and went into a gray void... other than that it was great!
I had an issue on the web build where it failed to capture my cursor (I suppose that's what the start button was for. I usually implement mouse capture on clicking the window, as that works too). On the linux build I had some issues with finding the interaction area, but I still managed to finish the game. Pulling off an escape room game during such a short jam is quite a feat.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I was aware of the issue with the cursor, but unfortunately due to time constrains I couldn't fix it properly. So now the game just opens in fullscreen when you click on it and if you accidentally unfocus or move the cursor away you need to restart it.
Interesting puzzles but it was too scary and i had to quit mid game. Really loved the game feel from the art and the ambience. Wish I was better with horror :/
Nice short horror game! I liked the idea of the character forgetting everything every after 40 seconds, but the full restart at 200 seconds was a little annoying (but I guess that's just a skill issue lol). The puzzles were fun though, and my favorite was the clock puzzle. Great job!
Thanks for playing our game and for the feedback. We actually debated only keeping the soft resets but making them more meaningful. changing the map in more ways and the puzzles. Sadly with the time restriction of the Game Jam there were not enough map variations and other puzzles to justify that.
