It was satisfying and intuitive to play! I kept expecting the other pieces to fight back, and I think maybe the blue tiles could be located at the tiles that enemy pieces are attacking? So attacking a bishop diagonally or a rook horizontally/vertically would be more expensive than avoiding their lines of sight? Just a thought!

I really liked playing, though. Something about it was calming. It felt like doing the chess.com puzzles, but lower stress, with each level having more than 1 correct answer. Not that the levels were easy, but because saving a few moves each round could really add up and save you later -- it was more like a marathon of puzzles.

Oh yeah I really like the idea with the pieces attacking, it would definitely add more difficulty and strategy. Im glad the chill vibes also came through. Marathon of puzzles is also such a good way to describe it, thats like the exact vision I had but thats a great name for it. Thank you so much for playing and your feedback.
