Dang it, that was hardcore 🔥

I really enjoy game, didn't expect doom/wolfenstein type game on this gamejam.

You make all the audio? Cause it's fire! Even if you not make it it's you work on it to fit really well in game. I felt this when I starting fall down and music drop after I land and shows name of game. That was really cool. Makes game more entertameint and really good first impression. The music is not just one minute track, it is whole song, with build ups, drops and sound. It's not simple to make such a good music in short time. I'm impressed. And at end of game, there is another soundtrack that is fits to climat or maybe it's the same track? I'm not so sure, cause music drop when starts timer so it can go with music. The only missing for me in music is at the start of the game, before falling down. Something more chill, ambiente music and that's it.

Artwork makes me impressed when you fall down, I felt I was in litteraly hell like in doom. Grats for that! There is also animation! Amazing, I couldn't make it put it my animation to my game and you made, that's really huge W for you. Some texture like wall all to simple, but that's small thing.

But there is huge problem with this game. I don't feel it it's feeting with countdown theme. Yes, I know, there is a countdown from 200sec, but seeing games, that are making games strickt to this theme, and putting text to "How does your game fit the theme?" that is not saying ANYTHING in game is really anticlimax. There is no narrative, nothing about saying what description says. If the game will be more fitting to gamejam theme and more narrative, It will be one of my favorite. But I will put creative on 3 cause of Doom/Wolfenstein type game, seriously didn't expect that on this gamejam.

Last thing, I want to know what engine you used. I start also was curious when Penguinsoft ask this.

Still great game and I can see huge potential for this. Keep it up!
