That was fun! Nice and simple but gets hectic fast! The music is great and gives a Tetris like feel which works well with this!

Incredible, super unique idea. Addicting gameplay. Only minuses is that I had some problems with web build and had to restart a page couple of times and lack of leaderboard. Idk if 1942 is high or low score XD
1942 is pretty high, my record is ~2100, and I think the average I've seen is ~1500. Leaderboard and records would've been added if we had another day to work on the project (+ingame tutorial), welp. For the web build its been a long-standing bug that's been haunting me for the last year, could you elaborate what issues you've had? The only one I'm aware of is the keyboard input doesn't work on first few loads, then after a restart or two it usually works (also include OS and Browser pls)
A lot to do in the ending rounds and it gets you into the flow its very polished and simple. I will say the tutorial on the main page going away after a bit then coming back is a bit annoying.
This is great! Super simple tasks, and the challenge comes from layering them on top. I love that the whole game is controlled by one button, could easily be a mobile game for that reason. Well polished, good job!
The game is really nice to play ! all the feedbacks make it very addicting :) Congrats on producing this level of polish in 4 days
Really nice game with good visuals and sound! it's really addictive :,D
Very good idea, played a lot ahah
Some time have been spent to make the game juicier, which is very nice. As i have to find a feedback, maybe on the progression, for having a better increasing rythm that will keep more and more over focused
I enjoyed this one a lot! Game ramped up at just a good enough pace to make it possible to get a great score even on your first attempt! Visuals, and music were really polished as well. Congrats of a solid game!
This is incredibly hectic and stressful! I had a lot of fun and "holy shit" came out of my mouth towards the end. Having the four types of clickables was a great decision -- it balances the chaos wonderfully without being overwhelming.
My only critiques are with the tutorial cards. I think they reset a little too fast, and the one explaining the "click a rocket" should explicitly say "when its countdown is zero". Maybe thats obvious for others? For me I instantly clicked the rockets because it told me to and was wondering why they were exploding. On a reload, I figured it out.
Very well done, I had quite a bit of fun with this.
Completely valid interpretation, I agree we should've cleared that up with playtesters, as per usual things got hectic at the end of the jam and we couldn't get much feedback on it to spot that, thanks for the good note!
Glad the complexity was just right, took a surprising amount of iteration to land on those 4 so I'm happy it was the right choice <3
Thanks for playing, we went through a bunch of iterations with the asteroids, and we settled on them being a background 'extra points' mechanic so that they don't take away from the 'countdown' theme of the rockets (originally the asteroid's numbers counted down too but that ended up feeling weird). If they were smaller it might've made more sense in the context of 'space' but then they would've been harder to hit and once again distracting cuz the player would need to put more focus into hitting them (esp if they collided with the planet, that would've changed the tone of the game completely), so its all tradeoffs in the end. Thanks for the idea though!
my mouse was very happy with all the attention it got. nice tetris-inspired soundtrack.
Game starts pretty slow, but devolves into a frantic madness near the end. At some point I just gave up hitting asteroids and tried to launch as many rockets as possible 😅
