How does your game fit the theme?
The Our Glass is broken. The Sands of Time are quickly draining through it. Ascend The Tower while managing the ever-lightening sandy clock. Be wary not to let the sands slip away.

Love the art and atmosphere! Also, the heavy sand and jump mechanics are so clever!
Thank you so much! Our artist and our sound designer played off each other so well to create such a mysterious world, it came out so much better than we could've even imagined. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!!
Nice work! Really enjoyed the mechanics, thought it was very well tied into the game jam theme as well. In particular, I really liked the tie in with how heavy the hour glass was (animations, weight, jump height, etc)
One super minor thing I felt was the angels that allow you to pray feel they take a tad bit too long at least without animations showing some form of progress.
Glad you enjoyed it! Definitely not the first time we've heard the prayer complaint hahah. We wanted it to be a reflective, spiritual moment but that's a big ask when you're spending the rest of the game trying to not run out of time. Definitely a change for the 1.1 release :) Thanks for playing though!!!
Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in Part 3 @ 2:55:42 <3 Incredible and very clever puzzle platformer. The mechanics and design was really well thought out! With more polish and content I'd definitely buy this! Probably my favorite entry!
Just finished watching you play!!! The puzzles are definitely a little tricky at times and a bit more guidance on the level layout probably wouldn’t have hurt but great job on seeing it through to the end, it was super fun to watch! Thanks so much for playing and glad you liked it so much!!!
Absolutely brilliant game. Not only is it beautiful, it is creative in its game mechanics.
Each thing feels like it has a place, full versus empty, water versus air, jump heights, speed, just everything. Couldnt beat the game but added it to a collection to return. Great stuff
thank you so much for the review, it means a lot!!! Glad you liked it so much before you’ve even seen the end! Great surprise in store at the end, worked on the end sequence for about 3 hours the morning of the jam so I hope you get the chance to see it :) thanks for playing!!!
I will be back and will be sure to see it through :D
Clever, I love my character getting faster and the hourglass empties. :) And the different ways it's held, starting with dragging it along and then eventually on the back, is a nice touch.
Thank you!!! The walking animations aren’t just a nice touch but are almost necessary for the gameplay, I almost passed out when our artist sent them over for the first time. Thanks so much for playing!!
the game idea i never seen is very cool game concept but im just confused what i need to do i just going randomly to a place like that and clicke E for 5sec for statue like 4 statue is cool ! nice game ! (✿◕‿◕✿)
Secrets await you at the top of The Tower, hopefully you can make it there!!
Holy shit, what an awsome idea <3
Thanks so much!!! We bounced around between a lot of different ideas, but this one was so perfect it stuck. Thanks for playing!!!
Really Great art and gameplay mechanics.!!! Really enjoyed it. Very well excuted.
Thanks for playing!!! We had a really creative team who were firing on all cylinders to get this done and we're so happy with how it turned out! Thanks again!!
Great idea and execution with cool puzzles!
Thanks so much, we were really happy with the design of the puzzles and hope they weren't too tricky :) Thanks for playing!!!
Great game! I'd really love to see a full game expanded out of this!
Glad you enjoyed it! We've had a lot of thoughts on how to expand out the idea so who knows! Thanks so much for playing!!
Insanely cool. I really liked how you guys approached the theme. I also like that the countdown changes your characters movement options! It's riskier to have less sand because you might time out but now you can move faster and jump higher. Really smart design.
Glad you liked it! The core mechanic was a simple idea that lent itself to lots of fun exploration through different puzzles. Thanks so much more playing!!
Woah. 4 days is wild. Loved this game, truly amazing
Thank you so much for playing! It was a bruuuutal 4 days but we couldn't be much happier. I'll to give yours a look, thanks again!!
Wow, what a game! Great job adapting Lewis Carol into something new and exciting. The quality was great and I loved the feeling of solving the puzzles. The ending, and my attempts at it before, were incredible. Great job!
The game slightly reminds me of Noita, have any of the developers played that?
SPOILERS
Glad you picked up on the Alice in Wonderland reference! We wanted an animal that represented time and that was the obvious choice, makes for such a whimsical and mysterious atmosphere. Congrats on seeing the ending!
And I haven't heard of that, I'll have to check it out! We've also gotten a lot of people mention Prince of Persia which we also haven't played lol. Thanks again!!
Thanks for the great game!
Just... no words dude, in 4 days this is just amazing man.
Thank you so much!! It was a lot of work but we're really happy with how much people are enjoying it. Thanks for playing!!!
Wow very impressive! Very unique idea and I love the mechanic if the hourglass having less weight as time goes on. I love the art. I really love the little details too like the sand left behind by the player as they go!
Glad you liked it! It was a lot of fun just building off of our initial idea to make it feel like an immersive world. Thanks so much for playing!
I really liked the game's music (especially the little things like how it gets quieter when you go underwater music), and how how you used the timer mechanic as a resource that the player had to manage! I wish that you had added some kind of checkpoint system though, because it's really frustrating to get pretty far before dying and having to restart all over again. I think that mechanic works better in games where the player can always move fast when they're trying to get back to their original position. :(
Thanks so much for playing! We had a ton of fun thinking about how we could make the environment as immersive as possible. And there are checkpoints! Praying at the large altars that say “Hold E” above them set that as your respawn point for the next time you run out of sand. There’s 2 down in the tutorial area, 1 in the center of the main area, and 4 more down each of the puzzle paths. Dying intentionally actually makes it easier a lot of the time so you can quickly retry a hard spot! Hopefully you were still able to get to the end without them :)Thanks for playing though!!
Ohhhh, I see. I might give it another shot today then. I got to a few of those altars and held down E, but it just seemed like the player was sitting there praying while the hourglass kept ticking, and would be about to die if I didn't get a move on.
Very cool! If you have time you should rate my game too!
Will check it out later today, thanks for playing!!
The controls and level design can be kind of clunky at times but the core mechanic is actually really smart, I really like how the sand in your hourglass becomes a currency you trade off for agility, but in turn you have to hurry up to refill it. Using the sand seeping out of your hourglass to weigh down buttons is also a really clever idea, and while some of the level geometry could have been filled out more the atmosphere was very nice and meditative. Definitely one of the more creative games I've seen in this jam.
Thanks for taking the time to play! Would definitely tweak some variables on the player movement if we were going for a full release, but kinda just set everything to a "this feels alright" early on and built the level around that. Glad you liked some of the puzzles, it was fun to get to a point where we could just focus on using the mechanics we had built to test the player! We really hit captured some lightning in a bottle with our artist and audio specialist's work lining up so perfectly to create a unified environment. Thanks for playing!!!
sick stuff, I love me a good platformer. I really like the audio too I can tell a lot of work went into it!
Thanks so much for checking it out! I went in to the jam saying I wasn’t gonna make a platformer yet here we are… Thankfully it turned out pretty good in the end thanks to all the work from the whole team! Thanks for playing!
Fantastic sound and art design! Personally I'm not usually a fan of platformers, but this one was so calming and almost felt like a cozy game. 10/10 would reccommend.
Thank you so much!!! Our artist and audio specialist knocked it completely out of the park and made this feel like a cohesive world. Our motivating lore has dire consequences of the fabric of time being destroyed forever, but we wanted it to feel like a hopeful and inspiring journey to fix it. Thanks again for playing, glad you enjoyed!!
