Fun game and very well polished! Good job!

This game is absolutely vile <3 And I mean that in the most loving way possible. Great game!

I love this idea! My favorite level was the one where the level itself moved to squish you and push you off ledges. :)

enjoyed it in a weird way

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you gave it a go!

Fun and frustrating trial and error game! I ended up with a time of 1:15, so not the best but definitely still very enjoyable to play. I think it would be cool if you incorporated the countdown into the frustration as well - imagine a level where you think you should take your time and the clock time is huge - but then it suddenly gets cut down. Or something along the lines of that. This game captures the idea it tries to convey (frustration) extremely well, so props to you for that!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I quite like your idea as well! I also thought about a similar idea where you get penalised for the number of deaths. But in the end, time was tight, so I just decided to create levels instead and polished the game.

Proper rage game. The countodwn mechanic actually enhances the experience, forcing to make quick decisions and failing to avoid the often pretty obvious traps. What I noticed is that I ended up developing a fear of empty spaces and was jumping like crazy at the end of levels to avoid any hidden traps. 10/10 would rage again

Developer

That was exactly what I planned the experience to be! You hit the nail on the head! Thanks for playing!

This game made me want to punch my screen. Guess that was the point of the game. Great Game

Developer

Exactly what I was going for! Though maybe that's not the best for my ratings :/ OH WELL. Thanks for playing!

Pretty good game for very few assets used; I shall take notes of this hehehee

I'm not very much of an artist, so I had to make do with what I had ahah. Thanks for playing!

personally not a fan of rage games but I know a few speedrunner who would LOVE this

Developer

Yeah, it was a bit of a risk to make a game that would cause a negative emotion. Thanks for playing though!

Good game. Pretty solid. Though for the last level, the last trick with the block pushing the player is very easily dodged, i feel like it could be reworked, Anyway great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I planned to make 15 levels but ran out of time. I also wish that my last few levels combined all of the tricks and were super hard.

Beat the dev ;) - sub 60 seconds did feel impossible though unless there's a glitch. Sure the speedrunners will find it haha!

Really enjoyable game, did the basics really nicely and I didn't encounter any bugs while playing. Odd that "6." caused the UI label to go a bit weird on the middle row of the level select screen (as seen in my screenshot), but a really minor thing in an otherwise solid submission. Congratulations!

Developer

You're a better speedrunner than me! Someone has actually gotten sub-55, which surprised even me! Yeah, the text bug was an unfortunate visual bug because of the font. I discovered that it actually comes from the "4"; turns out the full stop likes to hide under the 4's chin ahah. Thanks for playing!

I have to give credit to the game as I am usually, at beat, a mildly average gamer, haha! That sub-55 makes me both cry and curse, but also does make me want to speedrun it further though and see if I can push the limits...

Ah, interesting, now you mention about the full stop hiding under the 4, I totally see it. That is a bizarre choice on the font maker's account...

This was a proper game jam game though - entertaining, simple mechanics yet challenging to master, polished and no noticeable bugs. Thanks for submitting, hope you rank highly as you deserve it!

Neat game! Very challenging. I'm a big fan of the effect used on the countdown numbers. Very neat.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm in love with that effect too! Had to do some Unity magic to get it working
