great package, loving the feeling of this one . as an audio fanatic, the sounds and music tickle me in nice places
Let all of our ears be tingled into sleep by the Hand lullaby~
Thanks for admiring the audio design!
Simple and fun.
You made this look way easier on twitter. Really fun tense gameplay with polished visuals and satisfying gameplay!
Superb style. The art is simple but it feels so good. The theme interpretation is interesting, it is not just about countdown but also timing. I do not know why it was so hard for me to aim, really hard. Specially with targets that are far away, no matter if I take a long time to aim. I felt a little uncomfortable not being able to click to shoot (I just jump).
BTW, it is a good thing to think about linux player but in fact the game in linux might have problems. I had a segmentation fault. I was running it with firejail though, so do not take this info as 100% reliable.
Very good overall. The whole experience is very consistent. As I said it has its style and look & feel. Excellent job!
thanks for playing, definitely mot a game for everyone. might be also my fault when designing it
Already fixed the linux issue for a post jam update. issue turned out to be a corrupted soundtrack file added last minute which caused the linux build to somehow not package it. the first second of the game when the soundtrack was referenced and started playing caused a crash. sorry about the inconvenience
holy gamefeel !
game feels awesome to control and just oozes with style ! i really fw it heavy.
WOW this might be my favorite game so far. The movement was addictive and felt GREAT, and it paired with the music so well! If there was a slide mechanic and some more level variety I could play this all night, no joke.
ok this is genuinely addictive!! i can see why people keep coming back to it. the movement feels incredible, rocket/shotgun jumping to fling myself between targets while switching weapons was just satisfying to pull off. black and white art style is really striking too, gives it a lot of atmosphere. took me a bit to understand the different weapon types at a glance since everything's happening so fast, and i had a couple targets fade out right as i was about to hit them which felt a little unfair, but honestly that didn't stop me from going back in for another run immediately. this feels way more polished than a jam game has any right to be, incredible work!
thanks for playing, all valid criticism. gathered up all the feedback from people to push an updated version as soon as the jam ends including fixed linux version, 3x performance boost so it runs on a potato and various qol stuff to not feel unfair anymore like the targets disappearing or not knowing if the shotgun shot is gonna make it etc.
Awesome really! Was hoping that I’ll find something at the top of the tower…
I know what you are. I am inside your walls.
After the voting.... maybe.... we'll add something up there............ whhooooo knoowwsss~
Why are you scaring me…
'Cause I'm just that silly.
If I’d be launching your game using Windows I’d be scared… But hopefully proton will save me… Will it?..
It will save us all. Praise the Proton!!
Extremely satisfying game feel! All the moving parts combined with the music got me in the groove immediately. I kinda wish the different gun types were communicated a bit more clearly since it's a lot to take in when you are on a timer, but I bet it feels great to be able to read them at a quick glance like some Tetris master readying their next piece. If this was made into some sort of fast paced platformer where you have to clear a set number of targets in the allotted time (gaining extra time with combos of course) I'd totally buy it.
