Thanks! I really enjoyed playing it. Great work!

Yess I love platformers, this was fun but difficult! I also thought the jump/movement was pretty satisfying. Nice submission!

Pretty cool game. Was the twirl inspired by the New Super Mario Bros series? I like the concept and the polish on the movement. Visually, some things look a little strange, like the plain text and the mildly blurry art assets. Cool game though!

Wow that was rough but the speed feels soo good with the zoom out. Thats some nice idea ;)
We also made a platformer but with a different approach. Feel free to try it aswell :))

I love a good platformer. This was fun to play!

Fun mechanics ! I think you should add a bit of coyote time because when you sprint it’s frustrating to miss you jump by a few frames.

Difficult but fun! I'm a sucker for platformers. Big fan of the level art as well.

Very fun and challenging. Took me a while to get past level one. Wished it was a little more beginner friendly for level one and it would have been even more better if there was music and SFX, but other than that love it.

A fun concept! I don't know if you've ever played the game Celeste, but it uses quite the similar blocks in some parts of the game, kind of reminded me of that.
As for the gameplay, it's quite precise in some areas, but that's a good thing imo, and I found it to be very enjoyable.

Also, if you're planning on continuing with game development after the jam, I have a few suggestions that I think will help a lot :>

I know this has been said before, but the game looks a bit blurry, it's not particularly a bad thing, but you can fix it really easily. Since you're using Godot, you can just change this under Project -> Project Settings -> Rendering -> Textures -> Here under Canvas Textures just set Default Texture Filter to Nearest, and it shouldn't look blurry anymore!

Jump Buffer and Coyote Time have also been mentioned, and I agree that these will make the platforming feel a lot more intuitive. These concepts may sound complex, but they really aren't, you can just look it up on Youtube, and you'll find plenty of tutorials to implement these, which'll probably take like 30 minutes or so.

Auto Tiling will help with level design and make it a lot less tedious, this you can also find tutorials just about everywhere on the internet and is very easy to implement in Godot.

I don't think not having these is a bad thing, but they will help your game a lot. For a first game especially this game is really well made :D

The concept of the game is fun. The visuals are a bit blurry, but they can be improved!

I like the concept of the timer changing the platforms! Being able to hover helps a lot but the movement overall was a bit hard for me to grasp. There was one point where I landed on the edge of a spike and it didn't kill me, so you might want to play around with the hitboxes of that.

I think you used the wrong settings when setting up your project, unfortunately the antialiasing looks very bad when the game is scaled up... You can fix this by either changing the scale mode of your project or by changing the interpolation mode on your scene's nodes.

The design is very simple but it lacks some of the important features of a platformer like coyote frames and jump buffer that would make the controls feel much smoother. Some of the platforms are not very clearly delimited (the edge of clouds aren't solid for example).

Despite the flaws, it's pretty good for a very first game, it works well and it's quite fun!
