Really creative use of the theme, and I liked how the arena itself became the countdown. It got pretty chaotic by wave 3, though, and I wasn’t always sure what was hurting me or which enemies were spawners. Still, the art and overall idea were really cool!

Cool game! It's got a lot of charm. And I like how the safe area slowly closes as time goes down. Nice job!

Very creative use of countdown, making the playing field smaller as it goes down! I was a bit confused originally about what was hurting me though. I also didn't really figure out the point of the timer. I think it would be good if the player accumulated thetinium faster, because I found myself dying consistently around wave 3 and not earning much to be able to get farther (it becomes quite the bullet hell!). Also like the art!

I love the countdown theme incorporated as making the countdown the playing field. I think that different music would have sold the panic that comes with an ever-narrowing playing field. Well-executed! It's immersive and fun. Well done.

Super cool idea! It's a really fun way to play with the clock. I appreciate that being in the red zone doesn't instantly kill you so you can still get some shots in before it's all over for good. There are some solid concepts here!

Game kinda hard to me, I only got 17 kills but I like art style and sound :D

I especially like how being in the red zone doesn't instantly kill you. I think it would be nice if you could shoot the enemies' bullets

Cool game but i think the fact that the spawners are spawners could be better communicated as at a glance, it just looks like regular spawning. Also the waves can feel unbalance with them quickly becoming projectile spam.

Thanks for playing. Ye I guess I really should've added intrduction for enemies.

I like how you keep the time relate to the action and the gameplay. Good job!

Developer

I tried to make sure the theme is at a core of the game :)

A pretty fun game! I think the idea of making it so the bullets move the timer rather than damaging you outright is really cool, very creative. I'd like if progression was a bit faster, may be a skill issue on my part but I couldn't get more than 5-6 thetinium per run!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot I really like how it enables clutching wins sometimes, since it's not your HP.

Good use of the theme here. Maybe I just suck, but the game felt a bit too hard? I couldn't get past 3rd level :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, when I was playtesting it, it's the meta progression that felt like it's carrying the weight also you get better as you go.
I didn't have time to introduce enemies in a cool way but you have spawners that make it way harder because you need to focus them right away.

I love the idea that getting hit doesn't reduce your health, just your time. And that you still have a small window of opportunity even after time runs out. I wish progression was a bit faster for the jam version, but I might come back and try and grind out a few more levels later

Developer

Thanks so much. I wasn't sure how much content should be there for the jam if Im being honest. Earning the points was like that by default to make you want to play more XD there is a logic for the amounts to keep you hooked.

Very nice game. Quite addictive, downloaded it and still am playing. Appreciate the ability to customize things

Thanks a lot. I'm glad people are enjoying it :)

Really creative use of theme. Challenging but fun. The accessibility options are amazing.

Developer(+1)

Much appreciated. There is so many options because I asked for an early feedback amongst my friends, so the reticle is better for everyone and colors because I made a Sudoku game for tough crowd before XD I guess its automatic now.

Kind of game that I would make if I were to do a solo GameJam this year. I like the idea, but I don’t understand why the clock should rotate or start counting upside down; it’s confusing (for me personally), and second, I don’t get why meta progression instead of rogue-like progression (I would prefer rogue-like)

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot. To your points I might have went overboard with the effects on the arena, there is a point where the clock starts spinning but then I thought - ow lets also rotate the arena randomly every wave, so we actually always start from 12 but 12 is not always at the top.

Meta progression was a little better for the scope of the game right now but if I were to progress further with the idea and add even more content on top, put a proper story behind I'd keep meta and add roguelike on top (kind of like Hades, with the mirror).

Everything aside, appreciate the feedback!

Still a cool game. Keep it up)
