I think this game really shines in its simplicity! Its a fun concept you execute really well on, good job :)
I do think sometimes its a bit unclear on how to count something in a way that feels unfair, but nothing too major!

I liked this Wario Ware style game! The music fit well, and the art was great fit for it! I had fun with it. Of course if you want to make it to a full game then maybe more variation, but this one was quite good! I maybe had some bug with my browser that it was difficult to hit the Start-button (I dont know was it just my browser)
Really fun collection of minigames! The counting idea fits the theme well, and everything feels cute and cohesive. A few prompts could be clearer about exactly what to count, though, and the timer felt a little too tight sometimes.
I love the mini-games! I got to level 11 on my second try, but had a moment where a mole made the smacky sound twice on one mole so I counted by smacky sounds rather than moles that had been smacked and failed. I'd love to come back and see the additions as you make them, though! I think my main piece of feedback is that it isn't always clear what the thing we are counting is, despite the little image showing. The clearest example for this is the "Count His Moves" activity, where you have to count how many times he does a SPECIFIC move, not just how many times he changes position. As for ideas, I think counting how many times a bobber dips under during fishing, counting raindrops or drops from an icicle, candles or matches burning out, leaves falling ... all sorts of things! One final pain point I had was trying to spam the green button in time before the timer went out to get enough 'counts' in - maybe text input or a typing pad for that one!
Thank you so much, this was so thoughtful! I love the fishing bobber idea, I am unashamedly yoinking that and throwing it on my sticky note :P. You're definitely right on both counts, I want to revisit how I lay out the minigame instructions - I originally had it be a bit more verbose ("Count the pins that were hit!") but I couldn't come up with a great way to express it without making it a jumble of words the player has to parse quickly before jumping in. Definitely something I gotta take another look at. The button timer being too tight was also something most commenters agreed on, and was something I thought about during development but just kinda... pushed it off for future me to solve... whoops! Thanks for playing :D
Really interesting game with a cool concept, I just think the wording should be changed on some questions, are we supposed to count all moles or are we supposed to count the ones whacked/not whacked, are we supposed to count all pins that were there before or the ones knocked over/the ones still standing etc? The timer should maybe also be a bit more forgiving. I did figure it out eventually and it was quite a nice game, I also like the art.
This is a fun micro-game collection! The concept of tracking and counting objects moving "down" is a clever, literal interpretation of the jam's prompt. The aesthetic feels cohesive and charming, though the timer is quite tight, which keeps the pressure high. For future updates, clarifying the in-game text prompts—like specifically asking to count "knocked-over pins"—would remove initial confusion and let players focus entirely on the fast reflex gameplay. Fantastic job completing this for the jam!
Great game, really liked the aesthetic. It’s very simple to understand, but I think maybe the wording can be changed: we are counting pins that are knocked over, not just pins etc. Timer is also a bit tight, but got to level 9 on my second try so not too bad ig?
I think I don't know how to count the moles haha, but it has many fun micro games about counting I think are charming!
Fair enough! You just count how many moles get smacked by a hammer for that minigame. There's a little instruction/example that shows up before each minigame that shows what you're counting, but I definitely could've done a better job of instructing, something I definitely needed to playtest more!
Thanks for playing :)
Quite fun! The variety of minigames are sufficient and the artstyle is charming. I think that the timer to set the count is wayy to short especially for the mole levels where there's two hammers, I counted 14 mole hits but I didn't know if I actually counted it wrong or if I just didn't have to set it properly (either I didn't spam fast enough or spammed too fast). But I think with polish and maybe a larger variety of counting minigames this game can be really polished!
Man, I took forever to figure out the twist, I was so confused! That was super fun though once I figured it out, though I really struggled with that bowling one lol.
Nice game , I had fun playing but I think the time between the stage i mean where you click how many things have happened is short
Great job on this! I had a lot of fun playing it, congrats on finishing the jam!
