Howdy! My name’s Millie and I am a 2D illustrator and pixel artist.

I don’t have much of my recent work up as I got a new iPad recently and lost access to a lot of old work, but I am looking to build my portfolio by possibly contributing work to a game.

My profile & socials go into more detail on my work, but I am really into horror and sci-fi, though I love cutesy things as well and I am open to all genres! I am willing to do character art, concept art, pixel art (sprites, tiles, UI, etc.), as well as discussing other areas too. I want to grow my portfolio in game art, especially pixel art, but I of course am open to non-pixelated projects as well.

I do have college classes going at the moment, so preferably nothing with too tight of a deadline (though of course I understand all projects must have a deadline!).

Let me know if you’re in need of an artist, you can find more of my work and info via my profile here. As this is also my first post, I’d appreciate any advice as well. Thanks!

Hi! Would you feel comfortable creating animatics/storyboards for game cutscenes?

Hi! For sure, I have brief experience with making animatics of some of my own characters/content. If you'd like, you can send me an email via the one on my profile and we can chat about it there or I can send you my Discord username there! (I'm not sure rules on posting my discord user on this reply I am new to the community side of itch.io haha)

You can send your Discord username!

Hello, I am one of the two lead writers of an Undertale fangame project known as Overchanged, and we are kind of looking for more artists as that is very low, and we don't really have a deadline, and it's more about taking your own pace at things anyway as I feel rushing or putting deadlines makes stuff harder for people, but if you're interested in the idea and just want to take your time, that'd be cool :>

Hello! Looking forward to be hired to a bigger project that's a game still? If so, make sure to add me @Houndari ! Hope to see you soon!

Hi! Could you please read through This Post and see if you are interested? You can contact me via the discord server (link there) or reply to this comment

I am in need of pixel artist for a metroidvania project. Discord:Lesnier#9212

I am looking for an artist (probably to do pixel art) for a 2-3 week game jam. Discord: wizarddude2045. Not a guarantee of a job.

hey millie! found your itch post about character art, illustrations, and wanting to get more experience working on games.

im developing Gilded Horizons, a 3D social sandbox where players will eventually be able to customize their avatars with different outfits, accessories, hairstyles, and other items.

i noticed you mentioned enjoying cute character designs too, which could actually fit some of the cosmetic concepts we're planning.

we already have a multimedia artist, but we're looking for people who'd enjoy helping with smaller character or accessory designs.

we're currently pre-funding and volunteer-based. i also saw you have college classes, so we'd definitely keep things flexible. would you be interested in hearing more?

Hi Millie! 😊

I came across your post and saw that you're interested in joining game development projects as a pixel artist.

I'm currently developing a Touhou fan RPG using RPG Maker 2003. The game takes place in Gensokyo and will feature familiar Touhou characters such as Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and many others.

I'm looking for a pixel artist who might be interested in helping with character walking sprites.

Since this is a non-commercial fan project, I'm currently looking for volunteers who would be willing to contribute without payment. Of course, you would receive proper credit for your work!

I completely understand that you're busy with university, so there would be no strict deadlines or pressure.

If you're interested, I would love to start with just one character, Reimu Hakurei, rather than asking for lots of sprites at once.

Would you be interested in helping with my project? 😊

Thank you for your time!

Best regards,
Patrick
