The look was good, the audio was good, but the gameplay seemed completely luck based. I couldn't choose where my teams were placed, and even then it felt like even with mostly filled rows the lit lights were mostly random. Correct me if I'm wrong but it didn't feel like 'When you need to count 8, somewhere on 8 will always be lit, try to minimise empty spaces' and more like 'When you need to count 8, sometimes it doesnt light up any 8s'.
So half my days were bust because it really was all or nothing and I never made it below 7, let alone 1.
You can drag and drop teams, but I agree the game is not very well explained or shown with feedback.
Some cooool vibes here. Dig the air traffic control sound bites playing in the background.
Audio was a bit glitchy, I think I've had the same issue on browser with certain sounds. But, the general retro audioscape with button sfx, the sound clips, etc. created a rad analogue atmosphere. Really dug that! The visuals complemented it well.
RE gameplay, was a bit unsure what dictated the success percentage of a roll, so there was a bit of guessing involved. Dug the core loop, though! I found myself constantly rerolling and placing upgrades, even thought I wasn't always entirely sure how it all contributed.
Pretty cool, dude. With some fleshing out and leaning into the retro/analogue vibes, I think there's something here.
Yoo thanks for playing dude! Glad you like the vibes.
Yeah the pieces are kinda confusing but basically each one rolls 1 light out of how many it has. So if you place 3 vertical it can roll those three numbers each callout.
Really cool idea, and I loved the look, especially the nixie tube aesthetic (I have a nixie tube clock next to my PC). The premise was awesome. I did have a tough time figuring out exactly what the goals were and how things work... I just kept pushing buttons and sort of played the game. A bit more clear feedback would have helped, but I can still see the idea and think it's awesome. It is definitely something you should explore more. I really liked this idea of a card game where you need to make patterns on a playground... it was really cool.
Very pleasing art and interesting idea. I was struggling just a bit at first, but once I got the hang of it it was very fun!
Really great gameplay! I like the roguelike style of it. Great work!
So that is how they get rockets to space! I really like the idea and strategies in this game. However I struggled to finish the countdown even though I started trying it from 14th day because the shop ran out of tiles. The sound effects and animations are very good.
I'm super impressed that you made this in just 2 days. The core game loop was fun and kept me playing.
The only suggestion I'd have is adding a bit more clarity around what buying teams actually does.
Overall, really impressed with what you managed to build in such a short time. Great job!
