The transition to replay is really funny. :D I also liked the gameplay, and the art has something unique and medieval about it, which I love. However, the ui sometimes confused me quite a lot, for example I didn't understand choosing the path in the level, or the red things next to the card board. I also saw the yellow bar quite late, and was confused that there were no play-card-animations, they just vanish. I think particle effects and shaders could solve a lot of these problems. But overall, I think it's pretty impressive and fun! Do you plan to expand it after the jam?
Thanks for the feedback! We are glad you liked it!
And yes, we would love to continue with this project.
Cool! I look forward to it! :)
5 lanes? Leshy could never pull that off.
Hahahah nice one :D
I wish there was more player feedback! The concept is cool and the mechanics seem well thought out, but things just die sound effects or anything, it goes so fast :) Still, nice job on this!
The audio never loaded for me. Other than that, I was thoroughly pleased with a super fast and intuitive card game.
This card game plays well. Interesting take on the theme. Good work
Nicely themed albeit simple card game. Add the ability to scroll up pathways and maybe more effects for card death that kind of thing for sure!
Very nice card game, has a lot of potential for improvements! UI was a bit confusing at the beginning, but that wasn't a problem later on
Good game :D
CrayCray, did you take inspiration from the game inscription? I love inscription and this game feels like it was inspired by that. The one issue I had with this game was that the audio didnt loop and it would be nice to have SFX for when the characters attacked. As someone also learning unity, I found this audio tutorial from brackeys incredibly helpful. Overall, the game is really fun and I had a great time playing it :)
Thanks for the feedback and tips!
You got us there on the inscryption inspiration ^^'
Oh hey, I won and lost at the same time
For some reason, the music did not play in my end but we will consider that since there was supposed to be an ambience music.
I like the strategic mechanic of this card game, especially since I play trading card games! Each sons have their own colors which correspond to their skills of manipulating the battlefield, which is really creative! The medieval artworks were also really cool! Great job!
Huge and very cool work! i like yhe style and idea of card games
Big fan of the ambiance! The old-tale vibe is very nice, and the music and visuals match so well!
It is true that the manipulation of cards is a bit tricky (I also did a deckbuilder, and at some point in LV2 your cards move away faster than your mouse, so I know the hustle ^^')
But I really like the fighting animation; it made me think of Inscryption ^^
Congrats on your game!
I like the concept but the player feedback could do with being improved a lot. I was never sure what card I had selected, what options I had for that card and wasn't always confident my inputs were doing anything. Sound and some highlights would go a long way to improve this. Good work submitting a game to the jam! I played this on stream and gave feedback here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
