What a game, I love the cat paw cursor, the countdown mechanic is interesting, and the gameplay is fun. But there are some issues I've noticed during my play - The fights are way too slow, and not because of the countdown mechanic but because of the lack of offensive options and the enemy ability to heal (Im talkin about the raccoon fight). Currently there is a lot of cards that kind of do nothing, I get the idea of rerolling the dices and playing the right attacks at the right time, but somehow for me the fights took ages. Another thing, this game could really use creating it's own deck, I know this is a game jam, but I feel like the fight against hamster even though it is marked as easy is WAY harder then raccoon, our deck has no counterplay to the enemy, there is no interactions, you just patiently wait till the enemy generates dices and then destroys you with a gun, adding at least one crad that adds a dice to the dice pool would help this fight a lot (Or there was a card like this and I'm very dumb). Reading the enemy cards could be a little more easier, I feel like I need to reach very far with the coursor to read all of them fully. Sorry if this sounded like some rant, but I really liked the game, I just feel it is better to say what is wrong than to say what is right. This game could really be a game You can publish.

Oh don't worry, I don't take your comment as a rant ! I am well aware the balance of the game is all over the place, I wanted to show possibilities with multiple fights rather than having one singular tight fight with only a few cards available.

Having a whole game to have the possibility of making a deck is absolutely what would make the mechanics shine ! But as you know, time goes fast during a game jam and I didn't want to overscope

Yeah in this regard both fights were very different and their ideas were interesting. An I appreciate that the gameplay has a lot of things to keep an eye on, so the countdown on the cards is also helpful, now that I think, adding cards that can change the cards stack could be interesting mechanic and archetype. Since there is a stall card, it could be an enabler for something interesting. Nonetheless, with such mechanics this game has a lot of potential
